    If Ariel truly cared about abuse and did not have a Dana agenda then fair play. But he did not ask Triple H about Vince’s situation when he interviewed him, nor was he this persistent when Jon Jones attacked his wife in Vegas 2021.

    Ariel, he says "there aren't two sides to this story" (watch the video for context) as in his wife shouldn't be at fault, only he should be at fault, you know this too, you can tell by Ariel's smirk as he's saying it, you're just trying to pick at anything to make him look even worse... I have been against Dana, but Ariel's comments the past few episodes about Dana and this situation have made me feel a little different about it all.       It's called accountability...professionalism.... plenty of people in the world (presidents and CEOs of other companies, politicians) would lose their jobs over this... yet, here, we have the Fuhrer of MMA declaring that his punishment should be saying he feels bad. Even the company (whom he works for as an employee) shows us that Dana is the UFC because he gets to sit there and do this 10 minute apology and walk out of there like nothing happened.     This was a personal matter between Dana and his wife, that was caught on video. It had to be pushed into the public eye because of his public status. Does this mean he should lose everything he has worked for because of a family matter. Should his family have to take on more repercussions from outside sources? It's a mistake that he adamantly stated was wrong, and under no circumstances should this take place. Comparing this to a drunk driver harming someone in my opinion is just ridiculous.

      I agree with you. I was raised that you never hit a woman. I think dana has to face some kind of tangible repercussions.     I'm far from defending Dana. But where's the outrage for his wife? She not only struck first, but that's assault. Dana said, "This is a private matter that was done in public". That sounds like this isn't the first time this has happened and how comfortable she looked in the video hitting him, with him doing it in return, doubt this is a first. Both need to be accountable.     Not at one point in this whole video did Ariel stop and acknowledge that Dana's own wife is asking for the situation to be let go.
    Ariel has made countless (albeit spot on) points about Dana not truly being held accountable but if the victim of the situation is saying let's move on.
    Then why aren't we? At rhe end of the day. It's not Ariels business. It's not our business. It's nobody's business but Dana and his wife and his wife is saying shut up about it.       I am a former prosecutor. And the most frustrating part of my job was domestic violence and unwillingness of victims to stand up against it and testify. Many if not most were afraid or embarrassed to testify. You think this was an isolated incident? If it was, it’s unusual. It’s almost never isolated. The problem is empowerment. When nothing happens to guys like White, it normalizes domestic violence. Just look at the comments in any discussion of it. A fair percentage either blames his wife or says it’s nobody’s business but the family’s.

    Ariel, GC, not bouncing back can have many different meanings, there is no one literal definition. Now GC, "you've lost your job, you've lost everything, you've lost your wife, your life is in shambles..." that could be your definition of "not bouncing back" (not sure if many people would agree with you, but that is not the way many people have to see it.

    There is no “music” to face. Self defense is not a crime and referring to the victim of a crime as a criminal because he dared to have a natural (and legal) physiological response of self defense is a prime example of why no intelligent person sees you as a real or legitimate journalist.

It’s the character of a man and how they are able to handle their emotions in the heat of the moment.     Ariel, the consequences for domestic violence are handled by the authorities. Neither him nor his wife who instigated the situation were charged with any crime. The average human being that's involved with a domestic situation regardless of which side they're on doesn't get fired from their job, if there's no criminal element involved.

    I think your one of the purest and nicest people involved in mma, your journalism is always on point and never show any bias towards anything or anyone but I really think you need to discuss what you've briefly mentioned a few times what happened in 2014, you mentioned that it's something Dana did, said or whatnot and I think you should get it off your chest plus we would really like to know especially with what Dana has recently done hitting his wife, anyways I'm a fan for life and I can speak for all of us and say mma and sports in general are better with you covering, take care, love from England.
