@harrymtg Force of Will on the turn one Aether Vial is definitely worth it. If the vial resolves your Force is almost invalidated anyways. It also gives D&T a huge tempo swing. Also on the game 3 against delver, if the chalice on 1 you cast on turn 1 resolves, you lose your ability to cast shadowspear on the following turns
Hey Harry, I was wondering if you'd ever be interested in playing gifts storm? It's personally my favorite deck, but I'm not amazing at mtg. Seeing it played at a high level is always so much fun! If you did a showcase video that would be awesome! If not no worries, random requests can't always be granted
A “Is X still playable in Modern?” video is on my radar! As I am doing videos every other day there is a decent chance to see classics like storm come up 👍
I'd actually rather get housed by Delver than friggin Affinity, but still very cool. Love your vids, bro. keeps me up to date on the eternal formats I never get to play anymore :)
The vial question is tough, a creature deck running vial and cavern means that force won't get much value but dumping your hand out on turn 1 and then pitching your thought monitor was something I wasn't a fan of when you made the play. But hindsight ladida
I don't think Force on Aether Vial is a bad play. Vial resolving means your Force isn't going to be as valuable. Chalk that one up to "sometimes, you just need two Force of Will".
I wsa going to make a joke about destroying Legacy AND your wallet, but it seems Cannoneer's price dropped off by more than 100 USD! Does anyone know what happened?
I'm assuming you are talking about the converted tix price. I don't follow Magic Online finance so I can only assume that it went about the same way as the paper card just more amplified due to being a Treasure Chest exclusive and thus really scarce at first. The card was pretty overhyped in the beginning having a $20-25 price tag (the deck costing $30-35, mind you) and then just dwindled down. It's a really awesome card and quite the powerhouse just not in all decks which is what people slowly woke up to. People thought you can just slap it in any Vintage and many Legacy decks and just go to town. Of course, wearing the rose-tinted glasses they didn't think about counters and mistook the ward ability for hexproof, which it almost is but not quite as much as people thought. Now, after all the dust settled, it sits pretty stable at around $4. PS: Improvise on this card also wasn't as impactful as some people thought because most artifacts you play in decks which Canoneer fits tap for mana anyways. PPS: I also think the card is undercosted atm, guess we can blame that one product fatique. The future will tell if this doesn't get a reprint during the next few years.
Will Legacy tournemnt turnouts be affected by the Magic 30 $999 packs?
I am so buying proxies lol
Hahahaha I'd rather play with other proxies
Printer goes brrrrr
Mtg 30 is so dumb.
Love the content. Always look forward to new posts!

nice to see mtg videos that aren't 90 mins long, the effort to edit this down pays off a lot

4:37 is chalice on one the safest option in legacy, not criticing just genuinely curious as I don't play the format.

It's funny how delver is so strong in legacy even though is a lot similar to his modern counterpart. Nice video
Better cantrips and counterspells. Makes it alot better or a tempo deck.
Though UR Murktide is one of the best decks in Modern too
what's the name of the software user to play Magic in this video?
loving these expedited game videos. thanks!
8-cast is my favourite legacy deck in a long time. First time since DRS ban that I've bothered to play legacy.
The vial question is tough, a creature deck running vial and cavern means that force won't get much value but dumping your hand out on turn 1 and then pitching your thought monitor was something I wasn't a fan of when you made the play. But hindsight ladida
Pretty cool deck and tight plays just what I love from this channel.
Damn Harry is on another level with the thumbnails and click bait-y titles. Keep it up haha
Watching you makes me wish I could afford to play legacy in paper 😂😂

8cast is my favourite deck. I play it myself.
Magically ‼this ❤❤❤❤❤
Love the content
As someone who doesn't play legacy, I legit thought you were countering dredge decks.
can you make a deck with training grounds for modern pls!!!!!!!!!!!
> dominates legacy
> 3:3
If you see the record at the start I was 6-2, then lost round 9 to be 6-3
Ah wanted to see you get hit some meltdowns or whatever round 5. Lol
Siiick
I love you harry but, "Sahga" and "Petahl" killed me
Ggs

I stopped watching when you said Kappa Cannoneer is the solution. Fuck that card.
