is everyone that is asked this question not too biased to give an actual answer? People with existing collections don't want to lose their street cred; those without want to play magic.
People have the wrong ideas about legacy and vintage. Modern players don't want to play those formats because they're too fast and degenerate. I think this video perfectly shows that the true degenerate format is modern 😂
One thing you should do when you are hotspotting is to learn how to proxy your computer through your phone. Some hotspots throttle your speeds unless you pay a ton to the phone company, but if you route your traffic through your phone they cannot do this.
I remember when ‘Ponder’ sold for zero cents. . . No one wanted it. No one played it. Even brainstorm wasn’t played much. It was the couple of years or so of Fireblast. 1 mana to draw a card and have some small effect turns out to be OK, sometimes even fairly good or very good. I’m still not playing any ‘draw 2 cards in one turn (for a boost) creatures, etc. At least not right now. You can see, though, watching others play: card draw is insane.
Did you already have all these cards bought when they were cheaper for consistent reuse like this? It's insane to think that anybody can afford a deck like this in the first place. The biggest problem with magic in general though is price... Typical Modern deck costs between $200-$3000 on average and that's without the degeneracy of legacy and vintage card reserve list prices being added in. And that's just for ONE deck. The world's gone crazy. I mean, a chessboard is like $10 max, a pack of poker cards is cheaper. Yes Magic is a much more complex and complicated game and I love it, but I've been playing since 2008. How on earth do we expect to get new people to come to the game with prices this absurd? And don't think Standard is much better. They just banned Meathook but it stayed legal for a LONG time and that's a $70 card, and Sheoldred over $50. And they were running 4 copies per deck! Yeah, get rid of the reserve list, but the problem is much bigger and deeper than that!
Do you think WotC should abolish the reserve list?
yes
100%
The reserve list should have been gone years ago, replaced by an art reserve list that they continuously expand.
the reverse list only serves to help the rich get richer and make legacy, ever deminish

I genuinely wouldn't have known Vintage was this cool without your videos. I gotta give it a try one of these days for real.
It’s sometimes cheaper than modern on MTGO depending on the list!
Love seeing creatures non-blue succeed in Vintage. Watching all those power cards get threatened by 2 little lizards is awesome.
shipping black lotus to the bottom in the last game is so funny. i love vintage
Vintage is such a wild format especially seeing an army of 1/1s and 2/2s cause people to scoop.

Fabulous content. Great narration and editing, perfect length videos, cool decks and good gameplay, and just engaging overall.
Thank you! Comments like these keep me going.
I would have also accepted the title, "Collector Ouphe is BROKEN in Vintage!"
Calling your phone hot spot "dail up" made me burst out laughing. I mean. No but also yes.
I'm sooo glad the channel is back, was worried there for a sec
These videos are some of the best quality mtg content. The animations and everything. Great job, getting some "pretty deece" vibes from it
that moment when hollow one deck terrorize the eternal formats now
These are some solid videos with quality commentary, good job man I love these vintage plays

Vintage looks like modern dredge when it’s running as hot as it could
This is vintage, one with nothing is broken in this format
It was tough for me to see the deck list, but did this deck play strip mine? I only saw four wastelands.

Would it be worth it to throw in an Exploration into the deck to potentially play 2 Bazaars on turn 1? Just curious
I play this deck on cockatrice because of you, it's rather fun!
Once again, great content.
Sorry about the Internet issues, that would drive me insane.
that is one of the best haste creatures i have ever seen and it was wasted on green.
To be fair, most cards in vintage is broken :P
Love the content as always
It's a shame I will never be able to afford to play this format. But the youtube videos on it are neat.

(In all seriousness good video)
