    I just love how Vintage feels like two Gods just having a squabble. Just hardcasting the biggest demons around or taking infini8te turns.
    I imagine a normal mage finding a Vintage mage and not even realising that they had exactly one turn to not die.

    Time vault is two mana because there was no card that could untap it when it was printed. I have the power 9 but not the time vault because it sucked so bad at the time I was buying cards for vintage. It wasn’t till much later that cards that could untap it were printed and suddenly the useless card was overpowered.

    You should play 4 color elemental Living end in modern. I've been toying around with the idea of playing living end as a value play with the pitch elementals. When the living end resolves, you can answer the threats they get back with solitude and fury. The glue that holds the whole deck together is kaheera as your companion and omnath as a quality 4 drop. The deck would play fire//ice and leyline binding as removal. Would love to see you give it a shot.

    • @HarryMTG
      @HarryMTG  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Karn + Mycosyth Lattice (card at the start) turns all cards on the battlefield into artifacts (including lands) making Karns static ability turning off every permanent the opponent controls. As all cards in all hands are now colourless, so they also can’t pitch cards to things like Force of Will as they are not blue anymore, they are colourless! Hope this helps.

  • @eetuheikkinen8749
    @eetuheikkinen8749 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    How does this deck win if the opponent doesn't scoop? There didn't seem to be anything that can actually damage or mill the opponent out before you deck yourself from your infinite turns or Karn-lock, since you presumably have drawn more cards if you pull the combo of

  • @firedrake110
    @firedrake110 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Opponent round 1 game 1 not only punted it, but also scooped way too early. Three cards in a list like this can totally whiff, there was 100% a way out of that (assuming their deck can power through a single pact of negation). That, AND it's a game with a clock, and combo's like this one not only take time to go off, but he'd also get a bunch of info from the process. Truly a disappointment
    You could actually hard-cast the force r2g1, it's a shame there was nothing you could tutor up in your 60 to block an opposing time vault via that tinker. I wonder if running a mix of voltaic key and manifold key would be better, so you could theorhetically use a pithing needle on their untap source rather than the vault, allowing you to combo while leaving them sputtering
