We bought a vandalized RV and spent months renovating it. We turned it into a tiny home on wheels and this is the final reveal of the inside! RV renovation is... a ton of work.

I knew it would be but this RV reno took way more time and money than I thought. Because our 5th wheel had been vandalized before we bought it, there was a ton of extra work for this 5th wheel renovation - like patching all the holes. I wasn't really into an RV remodel, but I caved to Leila, who said "she'd take care of it", suggesting I wouldn't have to do much. I put in months of work for this RV remodel into a tiny home. We are FINALLY living full time in our RV, and... it's pretty great! The RV tour in this video was filmed in Colorado a few days ago, and I'm editing at the Lake of the Ozarks - in my RV office. Which I dig. 3 monitors, custom cabinetry from barn wood, solar when needed. Baby. RV living is challenging and the work and repairs never end, but it's fulfilling. Every day is a new adventure. The RV makeover into a tiny house was an experience, but I'm not sure I could do it again, at least not with a vandalized RV. I hope our RV renovation before and after gives you some RV renovation ideas if you're considering jumping in. A camper renovation is a huge commitment. Doesn't matter if it's a Class A motorhome, a travel trailer for a fifth wheel - plan on doubling the time and money you think it will cost!

Absolutely GORGEOUS! It's been over a year and would love to know what is going on w/the family.Did a beautiful job making not just a nice "converted tiny home" but a BEAUTIFUL HOME! Anyone would be happy in this home! GREAT JOB!
I love your home! We just purchased our first motorhome. It’s been a 10 year process of falling in love with RVing to buying land for a home base. Then we built a shed cabin on it. After selling the big suburban home we moved to a little country town one hour from our land.it kept us close enough to maintain it and close enough to the city so my husband could work making the best electrician pay. We needed the money to get our youngest through college. Now our daughter has finished undergrad in three years. She’s now in grad school. With 2 years to go. My husband and I took care of my husband s father in our country home for a year until we lost him 18 months ago. Losing him brought lots of thoughts about our life. Very serious thoughts as I’m been disabled for over a decade and the time to live is now not in 25 yrs from now when my husband retires. If he could. What if he got sick like me. Then what. So he took a leap of faith and retired at 48 with 28 years in the electrical union, he studied hard and passed his home inspection corses so he can work for himself. As well as building up an online business he started years ago. Now he is working at home. Our daughter is far away in grad school. And this motorhome is going to allow us to spend lots more time with her. Plus give us another place to stay at our land up by the river. Now the kids can visit the lake house cabin with lots of space for everyone to sleep over. They can Pick blackberries and go boating without the 2 hours drive back to the city. We are thrilled to get our older class A fix up. No painting but lots of ideas to make it our own. Some rugs and costal decor. Modifications to the shower. And new mattress. We are putting her in the shop for new tires and an awning. The sweet little lady we purchased “ Daisy “ from agreed to drop the price by $2000 so we could do repairs. She had taken excellent care of the motorhome and loved it for many years. We got very blessed to find this beautiful motorhome. But I can’t imagine living in a home more beautiful than your gorgeous home. You have created a home as nice as any sticks and bricks home. And better because you can travel in it. I hope ours looks as comfortable an stylish. Going to do my best to find special items for her. God bless you home! Leslye

Absolutely could live in a tiny home...I've been living in my 5th wheel camper over 3 years now and I love it. I wouldn't trade it/the life for anything! What an amazing renovation! 👏

LOVE what you did with your Tiny Home. I have toured hundreds of RV's and cannot understand why they always use dark wood, theatre chairs and dark leather furniture in an already small space! Your home is cozy and beautiful! If I had the skills, that would be what I would do. Thanks for posting.

Thank you :) When Trevor first started talking about living full time in an RV...he took me inside a few (my first time in an RV!) I literally thought NO freaking way!!! Even the "new" ones were awful to me. I told him ...the only way I could go full time...Transform it into a tiny house!

I have watched so many RV transformation videos on TH-cam, and yours is the best by far. As soon as the video began, I felt like you were someone I would enjoy knowing personally, but then you began the tour and I was really hooked. One thing I definitely appreciate is Tyler clearly explaining the tech info about living on the road and what's needed for internet access and off-grid living, because I also will need to work while away from my home base and want to avoid crowded campgrounds as much as possible. Thanks to your great tour, I'm super hyped to tackle my admittedy small 23-foot fifth wheel and incorporate some of your great ideas.

You did a beautiful job! We had a class c when our kids were little, either no time or no money, so we sold it. Thirty-five years later and empty nesters have stirred my husband's desire to travel. Now we definitely have the time and some money. We can't afford a new RV, but looking at used just might be our answer. Your imagination and decorating expertise had motivated me to dream too. Maybe hubs and I CAN do it and live the rest of our days on the road. Thanks for the inspiration.

In your rv,yes. I could live in this rest of my life. I'm going with 14 or 16 x 40 or 42 wood shed. It comes with cute Lil porch that cost extra but also takes away from living space. Before spring I may have to rethink porch. Build that one later. I tried finding a camper but they are all driveable or 5 the wheel. I own a truck already but I would use my truck bed for extra storage so that didn't work out too well for me. Your home is gorgeous.

I did a terrible job tracking, but with the new generator, solar, and recently, TWO new air condidtioners, we've gotta be over $30k! Best financial decision? Um, no! But hey, it's been an experience!

I really really just didn't like the original interior and knew that I didn't want a new one...cause I would feel guilty to take new things and update them. I knew there was a better way to do the inside! I would do it all over again

@@LyfeUntethered actually we’re in the process of downsizing and will be soon living in a fifth wheel. It’s a great quality RV but the decor is definitely not what I would consider “my personality”. Idk how long it’ll take but once we get moved hopefully by years end, the updates will begin.
