Thank you for the great inside views! I am amazed how precise this pilot is able to fly and hold the helicopter on one position and altitude. The communication between the guys on ground and the pilot is flawless! Thanks from a RC heli freak in love with fullsize helis and their possibilities!!
Mad skills, mad respect. Flew 27yrs in the US military, lots of combat time. Sling line is high risk flying, so stay safe. Cheers to you and many, many more years of safe accident free flying. Awesome!
Music to the ears from the gearbox & turbine sound inside the ' Squirrel ' machines and those slight blade slapping sound at times to top it off! Sling work rocks! Well flown there man. 😎💪🚁
I'm building my time in the Astar. What an awesome helicopter. Sooo much respect for long line pilots! Was just curious if it's a personal preference of yours not to use the FLI and keep it in the 3 gauge mode?? Awesome flying btw!!
Hello, Thanks a lot! I also flew in an Astar B2 so i get used to look 3 gauges. In addition, here we do lot of aerial work and I personally like more the 3 gauges as you can easily see the first limit and manage it with more precision, especially at high altitudes and temperatures. But is a personal preference, as other colleagues do the same work and uses the single gauge mode...
Thank you... I would say that usually here in Switzerland you need about 3 to 4 years after your CPL license to be approved to fly logging. Than it depends a lot from the company and their needs 😉
Really ! Nothing wrong with it , can’t please everyone, maybe you would have liked some crap music rather than the familiar turbine / transmission sound.

Great job while flying and transporting something on the ground to another place.
Grande Lukas, elicotterista gruista dunque 👍
I have been thinking about flying a helicopter. They say that it is not as easy as flying a fixed wing aircraft.
Dang buddy! This is a long way from racing golf carts at IRCHA! Nice!!
HAHAHA!
Would be nice to hear the comms too
thanks fro the suggestion, I will figure it out ;)
Legend! I bet you did a bit of swearing before getting that good!
It takes lot of years to master it and even after that we have our struggles ;)

What a exciting video! You are so cool and please tell me how long does your training take to be this quality?
