You want to know what's scary? I'm not allowed to have a firearm because of some stupid shit in the 90s. I have a bow - which is silent at least... I'm going to be playing life on hard mode when SHTF. But I've spent the last year in the outdoors practicing my survival skills. I am not going down without a fight. Let's hope we get through all the crazy shit and no one ever has to actually live through a real SHTF. I don't want to see anyone get hurt or starve. I don't plan on starving though. Have been thinking about this for a while now and one question I wanted to ask the Prepper community is whether it would be best to separate caches and have non metallic items in one cooler and metal in another? That way my thinking (right or wrong lol) is that someone stumbling across with a metal detector means you only lose half of what you have cached? Interested to hear the general consensus/thoughts from people.
