    I think it's a great idea. When there is no food in the stores people will be going door to door trying to get food. It's always better to find a way to spread out your preps so people don't get everything.

      True. Since COVID, I've been buying a few extras every week. Over a year and a half later and I'm not really noticing the price hikes cos ive been mixing up some new food with tinned or jarred. So here in Spain for example, I buy 3 onions, 1euro20 and use my jar of lentils or chickpeas and use my spices to make a curry dish which feeds me for 3 days. The lentils are now 1 euro a jar, but 6 months ago, they were 75. I have a few months worth of food built up and because we are not allowed guns here, I got some nice shiny axes and a new tomahawk. Break into my place if you like, but I'll gut you like Custer☠️on a shtf situation, I'll be stayin indoors. Safer than being out with the loonies🙄

      @@ross.58008 - Making spears with your axes (long sticks with natural cut tips) is always a great idea for a weapon. They're expendable quickly if need be. You have range either thrown or extending your hand reach. Thrusting a weapon can sometimes be advantageous. It fits in small areas where other weapons require a swing (room).

    Love your videos man! Great work! You gave me so many ideas! Having a hidden stash around is great. Perhaps if you have also a bug out plan and a route to follow to your location B, you could hide some crates to the way there...

    • @redfaux74
      @redfaux74 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I really like the idea of a spider hole in case you need to leave your Bug In Spot and hide just outside it but still on your own property. Then you can spy on the enemy and take it back at your convenience. Now you have extra supplies. You have what THEY had.

    Instead of TP, take the cardboard roll out of the middle of a paper towel roll, bag it up, crush it flat, and seal it. It can be used for TP, Firestarter, wound dressings, even to insulate your clothes. 1 piece half-sheet type of paper towel, van be used for 1 dump. Much better than TP.
    Also, take a roll of aluminum foil, unroll it, and fold it into 1 foot squares, in a continuous peice. Make sure it fits in a gallon zip lock. A stack of them. They can be used for cooking, and to make pans or bowls for boiling water. They take up no space. You might also want to add a few space blankets or a tarp, with a roll of parachord or even kite string. And lastly, I include an Altoid Container, that has a razorblade, lighter, and simple fishing kit (Line, hooks, small Bobber, ) rubber banded shut.
    In case I have to take all my stuff. I can use the parachord and garbage bags to take it and move. To make a sling/pack for my back. Nice video. Good job.
    And if you're worried about your cache floating up, find a Rock to put on top. It'll mark its location, as well as keep it down and shut, for years to come. No one will notice.
