My cartridge STILL works and I’m happy Odyssey brought this back but you would think so. Appropriate enough for fans to put it together, you’d think it would lead into a room with Captain Toad chillin like a villain with a hot chocolate from said fireplace and gives you a star. If there’s one thing Nintendo encourages it’s exploration in places you can’t immediately see. I should talk about this game more on my channel.
Well yeah, that's pretty much what the different colours are about. No matter which color of shell they get in their mouths... - Blue Yoshi will fly - Red Yoshi will spit fire - Yellow Yoshi will stomp And of course different colors of Yoshi and shells can lead to interesting combinations. Nevertheless, it has been evidenced different colors of Yoshi are not actually Yoshi, but his buddies, other Yoshi-like creatures with different names.
I haven’t played it in a while, but if i i remember correctly, all yoshis that weren’t the green one could use their power regardless of the shell color, but yoshi (the green one) was the one that depended on the color of the shells to use the powers

That "What kind of magic is this'" type of comment is what gives it away as not being in the OG game cuz it sounds more recent than it, as well as implying that this was a super secret. It would've been found way earlier if it was real.
I already it was fake the second you went in the chimney lol. I tried it myself back in the 90’s, I can easily debunked it. But I kept watching what fun stuff put in to. That said, apparently video games including Mario World may hold a secret that still has been uncovered yet. Or even older versions of the copy before stealthy releasing different versions out.
that world is actually just a seasonal shift. the game normally takes place in summer. when you unlock that by beating star road / special world, everything turns to autumn. and the now-masked koopas (and other enemies wearing other things) are all dressed in their halloween costumes.

I swear back when the snes came out and they had the store displays. Someone had found a secret level I have never seen anyone else find. I think the third koopa kid castle that Mario launches like rocket and it makes the band-aid on the mountain. That band-aid is a secret level. It's another castle. Someone had found out how to make the path up there and I saw it while I was playing it in the store. I have never figured out how to get up there. If I'm remembering wrong then it's the Mandela effect because I swear I remember seeing that there was a secret level on that band-aid. Does anyone else remember anything similar?
@Thegamingking-q4f was SNES your first system? Because there's always that learning curve. I noticed people who's first system was a modern system, they are used to more buttons and knobs, so it's easier to use a controller with less buttons. But if you've never played games before you still have to build that muscle memory. I had trouble moving up because I wasn't used to using both thumbs. So I had problems with dropping the controller. It took a while to learn a new grip. I still can't use an arcade stick.

I spent so much time exploring the world, that’s one of the first things I tried. Jumping on the chimney. That and searching for the ghost houses in vanilla dome and the chocolate island secret path. xd
The secret area is at the ghost house, as you cross the water straight, use the flying cape inside the ghost house, at the beginning, fly up amd continue, you'll unlock it. It has 5 blocks, the left and right has the same, both gives mushrooms if small but when big, the left gives flowers amd thebright the capes, in the middle isnthe green youshi, on the gba port, the blue youshi is there instead.
Okay so open mic question... My game file reads 99% completion. I found all the keys in every "red" level including the ones in star road. I found the secret 08 levels after Star road and "front door" and "back door" to Bowser castle. What did i miss to not obtain 100% game file..?

I played this game a billion times since I was a kid and never knew about this LOL.
It works on the original cartridge. I booted it up and tried it yesterday. So, if it works on a non-modded SNES, then why are you calling it a mod?
@@zach11241 No it doesn't. This is blatantly fake. Even without the shoddily made text box, there's no way Nintendo would have given players the ability to easily acquire the alternate Yoshis _and_ freely farm lives as soon as they clear Yoshi's Island 2.
