Bought a Bluetti had a problem. They asked for and I sent ALL the documentation they asked for and they acknowledged the problem and did nothing. When I wrote back they asked to send documentation a cut and pasted and never heard back from them. NEVER AGAIN!
I kept the (huge) boxes for mine for a year and a half after hearing the stories. I guess I got lucky, still has terrible "self-discharge" (or, at least, reported self discharge) if it turns off, though. I just leave the DC on all the time.
I've had nothing but good an experiences with Bluetti's customer service! With over 12K in purchases and two units replaced quickly, emails answered by the next day and in person support over the phone we fixed one AC200MAX within minutes of an update to the firmware. I'm sorry to hear you're having a problem with them. I suggest staying in contact with them and don't wait for them, send another email to their support team. Good luck 👍
I've loved all of my Bluetti products so far. AC200L+B230, AC180 x 4 (2 of them are on the way), AC2A for keeping my fiber ONT powered in the garage. The AC180 has been my most versatile power station. It's light enough to take camping and powerful enough for pretty much any task. If I had to name my two favorites by any brand, they would be the AC180 and the Pecron E600LFP (Name another 20 lb, 500-600 wh power station with a true 1200 watt inverter). Those two get used in an amazing number of different situations.)
Odin is a REALLY BEAUTIFUL cat with that grey coat and green eyes! My Bluettis have already saved me several hundred dollars in food that did not spoil when the power went out!
with the AC180, Pecron has a 500 watt car charger that can charge the unit with an external battery. I'm able to input nearly 400 watts into the unit. Kind of a DIY expansion battery.
Unfortunately I bought the ac180 5 days ago not knowing prime was going to do a sale. I still paid only $499 which is how much I paid for my old eb55 when I got it. Was glad to double my power for my fridge.
I bought the AC180 yesterday (Oct 9) on Amazon and they show Oct 31 as delivery date. Bluetti website shows they are out of inventory buy expect shipment by Oct 14. Dec 12 sounds like a CYA date.
Hobo, for an off grid cabin, how would you rate say a Bluetti AC300 system compared to building your own system with separate charge controller, battery bank and inverter with similar output? Thanks
Have you seen the Eco flow 12 V hundred amp power batteries they look really good and they’re on a pretty good deal for when you get two of them. It’s about 400 bucks I think with 180 discount it’s with the two of them for 587 so that’s a pretty good deal I think.
@@HOBOTECH I know, but I believe Bluetti has expandable batteries up to 3000 wh that the 180 can accept though it’s solar charging port. It’s their version of that use hat I mean and there seem to be more size options now is what I mean.
Need help deciding which one to buy between brands. Main goals are solar charging, running small to medium appliances including chest freezer, and affordability. This will be used only for grid down scenarios which happens 1-3 times a year as I’m in Florida. What are y’all’s recommendations please???
I have an inverter for my car to attach to my bluetti via normal plug and recharge on cloudy days after the hurricane passes. Would the BLUETTI D050S 500W DC Charging Enhancer work too?
Hello Hobo, I have recently purchased an AC 500, 2 AC200L's, 1 AC180, 2 AC70's, 2 EB3A's, 2 B300K's, 1 B300S and 1 B230. Your reviews were a deciding factor in purchasing Bluetti. This has all happened in the last 3 months or so. Now I have a question, I have several Computer UPS's, why when there is a power grid failure do the UPS's continue to alarm when connected to the Bluetti power stations for power in UPS mode? My system is not intergraded into the home, I am isolating each room or area to it's own backup power station so there is no single point of failure during an outage. I would love to hear from you. 😀
Help I wont to buy power station for fridge and freezer iceco 58 qt and cellulaire gps charger what his best (service) We need this for one or two week of camping .Thank for your time I like your video 3adult camper 👍👍
Im renting, The unit has old electric (very expensive, very inefficient) heating.. can anybody suggest the minimum amount of power I should get to run some plug-in heaters?
Batteries are really not a good solution for plug in heaters, A space heater burns 1000 - 1500 watts an hour so even the biggest of these systems would drain in 3 hrs (unless you could add large solar array)
Any chance of an in-depth review on the Swapsolar system? (Both parts of it, I'm assuming there will be more but I can also forsee it just being neglected. The batteries seem the size of Ebike batteries, imagine if they made a Bluetti bike with a direct solar input
Wow, absolutely amazing on Amazon Canada the AC 180 goes for $1200. Your sales numbers a little suspect. if you check the Canadian dollar conversion rate it’s not worth 1/3 of an American dollar😂

Don't waste your money. My battery lasted for the warranty period and then died. The company brushed me off.

Which model? What issue?
EcoFlow Delta 2 continues to not charge from 12v DC. Returned 3 times. Still broke but they do respond and I charge off solar.

Darn tooten, we got to keep that Odin with desert full of snootful of catnip. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😻
You can "charge" the AC180 with the BC80 and with the BC230 with the optional cable. Plugs into the DC input connector.
You can save money and buy a 48 volt battery with mc4 connectors and charge it at 500 watts
Been waiting for the ac70 to go on sale. Thank you for the code and reminder! Great videos by the way!
Thank you, we were able to use the USK code you had down and saved and additional $50!
It's 8PM on the 9th And amazon is saying that the code has expired! Wtf??!!

You can expand the 180 via the solar charge port, FYI. It’s expandable up to 4000+ wh
That's not battery expansion. It's one way supplementation. Literally every solar generator can accept power via solar.

Picked up the AC180 for $465!
Thanks for the great channel and these discouts HoboT😊
Can you run comparisons with evoflo batteries. Looking for one that will last a few days + solar panels. Love your channel.

Just got the 180. Fantastic price!
Your code worked on the AC180 through amazon which took another $50 off making it $409!!! couldn't pass that up. Thanks!

I'm surprised there is no mention of the AC60 or the AC60P. I just picked one up for 57% off msrp
ac60 is still on sale, but the price will go up soon ( 9th,Oct), if you want to take one, now is the best time to grab one.
Ac70 and ac180 are way cheaper in the US than UK! Can't justify £449 for ac70 even though it is the ideal balance of specs.

Wow, absolutely amazing on Amazon Canada the AC 180 goes for $1200. Your sales numbers a little suspect. if you check the Canadian dollar conversion rate it’s not worth 1/3 of an American dollar😂
There are additional tariffs, regulations, and transportation costs to cross the border. Blame the government.

499$ us vs 999$ ca as advertised on their website. Seems that someone on the marketing staff can't do math.
