Hello, I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Quilting is a new project for me, and I'm looking forward to the challenge. Especially how to add batting.😊 However, don't you have a twin sister? If so, how is she?? 😊All the best.
Yes! Kris owns My Girlfriend's Quilt Shoppe and her twin sister owns Kimberbell Designs! They are both doing great! Thanks for your support! And good luck quilting!
Thank you for this info, I'm doing placemats for donations, so this will make production faster. You mentioned that you can make the "binding" wider if you want, which all makes sense, double whatever finish you're looking for, but what about the mitred corner, are they always cut at 1/4 inch regardless of the finished width or do you have to recalculate how far to trim from the quilt corner for each binding size?
WOw! This is great and have made my world. Thanks so much
Glad to have found this video while searching for binding tips...this is great! Thank you.
I like this technique. Interesting.
Thanks for the clear, concise instructions!

Love this technique thank you
Hello, again, I found an old bed skirt. It's 55% cotton/45% polyester. Can I use this bed skirt for batting? Maybe double it?
No, batting is very different than material used on a bed skirt. Use batting for best results.

Thank you very much for posting this video and great info. I must say that all the "signage" in the video is very distracting.
