  • I had to do some detective work to find this one. I got an ECM fault on Narcissa and had to figure it out on my own.

Hey sir... I watched your viking saddle bag video. I agree that they're not as plug and play as the sales pitch. Nor do they come with the correct stuff. However, I noticed, when I did the relocation kit from Harley, if you unscrew the bolt that the seat mounts to... the one that's in the tire well, when all the other hex bolts are out of the fender. That tire well comes off. No need to cut any wires. And the rivets for the plate mount are super easy. The Harley relocation kit was an awesome choice. Thanks for the cool videos.

It was definitely a lot of FAFO going on with this install. LOL. If I ever did it again, I could skip all the things that didn't work and get it done in an hour

@Rainy Rider I noticed lol. I literally gave those viking saddle bags away. After the relocation kit almost any bags work.

@@JasonHilliard-dw2nr I still have to find a better way to mount the bags, because this mounting bracket is crap. I've been planning to break out the welder and use 1" flat stock to make a better one, but the addition of the sissy bar (also Viking, and it is awesome) let me use a sissy bar pack I already had, so the bags will wait to go back on

I've owned two 1200 Sportsters over the years. They both were definitely fun rides and I do miss them. Course I miss every bike that I have ever owned lol. Both of them had a 4.5 gallon tank and could go round 180 miles before flipping over to reserve. Now I have a 03 Indian Scout with a 3.3 gallon tank that will go 159 miles before it runs outta gas. Ask me how I know that lol. Great video! Keep riding and stay safe!

I just tried to reset mine. It wouldn't reset. The code is still coming up. My check engine light is still on

It comes up before you start it or after?
If it won't go away at all, you might need Harley to take a look at it.
