Will you guys do a review for the iiyama gb3466wqsu and compare it too?
Thanks for review! Been asking for it recently! I have this monitor for a month now, really loving it. Really wish to see your color calibration settings :(
Please review the Acer Nitro XV034CK! Same
Specs as this except with an IPS panel.
Yea! Review this
I second this! deciding between the two!
Thank you for reviewing this!
Can you review the new AOC CU34G3S?
Which one is better? This monitor or the samsung odyssey g5 34 inch curved?
In Europe, Iiyama has just release a 34" 144hz VA monitor in the same price range. The gb3466wqsu-b1.
Unfortunatly there are no Tests available yet. Also the xiaomi Mi Surface 34 is an interesting candidate in this price range.
At least 3 reviews are available just google it
Hi mate, where did you buy this in Australia? The Amazon purchase link is for the US.
Also, when are you reviewing the Xiaomi 34" monitor?
I bought mine from centrecom in australia
Hardware unboxed brought to you by Chopper Read
Does that mean most of what he says is just a lie?
Incredible screen, i have it now for 2 weeks and is by far the best buy i had in a long time.
How about now, still rocking that monitor. How has it been ?
I'd actually like to see you analyze and test Xiaomi 34" Ultrawide considering its cheaper and has same specs on paper.
I got this exact monitor. So cheap. Looks really red though and a lot of ghosting but enjoying it nonetheless.
I'd like to see this too
It has the same panel
@@donicsm7684 got it as well. I haven't really noticed much ghosting... at least its significantly less than my previous IPS LG monitor and also doesnt have red look.
@@petermatas9510 I notice it very much around dawn in Rust. It looks a lot a lot redder than my previous monitor, this is fixable though I think with calibration. Ghosting only very noticeable in dark backgrounds, especially when the foreground is very bright, e.g. TH-cam comments in dark mode. Very happy with the purchase though, enjoying the resolution upgrade and of course the money saved. Sold my Z35 to get the Xiaomi and had $200 left to fund a new GPU. Def a win in my book.
What camera do you use, it looks amazing
Could you review the Xiaomi Surface 34, please? It's also a 3440 x 1440p ultrawide 144Hz VA monitor that's only $400 (even less in China).
It uses the exact same panel as this one. Performance should be close to this monitor if not identical
So do the Nixeus, AOC and Xiaomi all use the same panel? displayspecifications website makes it seem like the Nixeus and Xiaomi have the same one, but the AOC seems different?
@@jonob3695 From my understanding they are all the same Samsung VA panel, Kogan/Viotech and Monoprice also sell there own versions
Just bought 2 of the global version of the Xiaomi surface 34 for 400€ each. Really happy with them.
@@Ziggity But as stated in the video, the overdrive settings in this monitor aren't exactly there. Other manufacturers using the same panel could have the settings more ironed out
A well spoken Aussie reviewing tech = Subscribed
Great Break down!
The new BOE panels (flat IPS 144Hz 3440x1440 34") in monitors like the iiyama GB3461WQSU and acer XV340CKP, which are available for ~£/$ 400 in their respective regions, pretty much made all budget VA ultrawides obsolete for gaming IMO, unless you really must have a curve. Great response times, no VA adaptive sync flickering issues, 100% sRGB and great price for the specs.
The cheapest price on the Amazon link is $599 USD. How does that affect your conclusion?
Can you also test the iiyama GB3461WQSU-B1? which is also a budget 34" 3440x1440 144hz monitor but its ips and a bit cheaper than the AOC here in the uk. Thanks
Glad you said the suggested price a minute in, saved me 13 minutes as its not available anywhere near that right now.
Hey @hardware_Unboxed, please review the Xiaomi 34' UW monitor....
The new gigabyte 34inch 1444 ultra wide starts at 400 usd ...please advise, is this monitor better?
PLEASE review the Acer xv340ck if you can. it's around the same price, and is a flat panel 3440x1440 IPS display that can do 144hz.
Yes please!!! Review this
I had one about a month ago, after checking in the store, I got a stuck subpixel at home, and had to return it. Sorry but for the uncle in the office, let half the matrix does not work, but for yourself, your favorite...no no no; moreover, the monitor is usually purchased for several years, I don't want to look at that white dot for years. Otherwise, there were no complaints about the image quality, the menu is a little slow-witted, and the unusual location of the buttons. By build quality and appearance 5 out of 5. Unfortunately, now the price has increased a little, but I will probably try to buy the same model again, maybe I will be lucky.
I asked him to do it on twitter, he ignored me )=
@@unheard5982 can agree. First panel had a bright white dot and bad uneven lightbleed. Second one has a couple dead pixels but not noticeable at all, other than that panel is basically perfect
@@suckmysilencer747 haha he probably gets tons of messages and doesnt have time to go through all of them. I'm just hoping at least ONE youtuber (doesnt even have to be a major one) does a response time test on this. that's all I really want to see.
Just got mine today from amazon warehouse deals.very happy. its great for elite dangerous and flight sims. just fantastic
0:11 that's a lot of 4s in one sentence! :D
soon as i hear great value here in Australia i liked and subscribed
When you're watching this on your AOC CU34G2X.....
I'm jealous, are you satisfied with it?
So lucky
Acer nitro is a better choice :) IPS 144hz
@@morpheus6966 Nah its a 34inch ultrawide monitor 144hz IPS
@@pascalpascal2044 So far so good, but the 144hz is no where as smooth as my old 1080p TN panel. It all depends on your priorities, I do stuff that requires alot of screen space (music production, art, blender, ect). I would have gone with 3 panels, but I didn't want the edges of the screen in my view while playing games. You do you.
The Acer XV370CKP is IPS and 600 retail. I got it at Microcenter for 460 and I've been happy thus far with it.
Can you a review on the Xiaomi Mi Surface Display? It looks to be a decent value 34" 1440p VA at $600AUD
£450 in the UK seems really good deal when others are 100s more
I have this monitor. I would say its priced how it should be. I'm running a Ryzen 7 3700x and 2070 super and I think it would be definitely worth spending a bit more to get an HDR monitor or at least one with IPS panels. The color palette is just simply not that sharp and you have to do a lot of messing with your monitor settings to get your games to look as they should. It gets the job done though.
review this "iiyama g-master gb3461wqsu-b1" cheaper and IPS
I was thinking about proposing you to review it.. but then 2 weeks ago I thought meh I just buy it.. very happy with it.
Is your mustache overclockable? What is it's refresh rate?
Thanks for the in depth review. I believe that you mentioned this monitor back in late 2019 and I purchased it for $450. I was wondering if you would recommend adjusting the Gamma Color Calibration? I visited the CalMan website and believe that it will probably be too expensive to consider purchasing for this. Good thing that I like the color saturation out of the box. LOL
this would be perfect for me in the basement mancave. i just cant afford it right now.
I just ordered the AOC 24G2 ....
Don't make me regret it.
this is way more expensive
@@lucwallace4308 I have noticed.
I live a Like for that 2020 moustache, GG
Nice video! Its better than xiaomi curved?
Hi, i really like your monitor reviews, can you review the xiaomi mi display 34 inch ultrawide with 144hz 1440p 10bit VA panel, this has the same price as the AOC CU34G2X. Thank you
I would like for you to review the Samsung Space monitor.
Can't find anyone with a professional touch like yours!
Keep up the great work.
Pls review Mi Surface 34" 21:9 pls!!!!!!
It uses the exact same panel as this one. Performance should be close to this monitor if not identical
by the way I use that monitor and in my opinion it's a great monitor maybe using the same panel like this AOC
@@Ziggity that's not what he asked. Panel choice has less to do with performance than you think.
second this
@@TheGauges420 Sure, there's the build quality, osd, color calibration and overdrive tuning. But at the end of the day, identical panels will have close performance.
Just look at the Nixeus panel. With better tuning it manages 70% transitions in the refresh windows with slightly more overshoot. Still not a huge deal
got 2 of these and very happy with it, great value for money
How about do a xiaomi 34inch review?
I've got this. Managed to get the last one, it's very nice indeed and the price is exceptional. The lowest you can pay for this feature set.
"$440 USD"
Amazon be like, "Gimme $545.93, bruh"
Yeah, prices are not great right now but here's a suggestion...
Try something like the Keepa extension for Chrome. It'll show you that Amazon (as in Amazon.com as the seller, not a third party) gets stock every few days and although it sells out quick, they've been pricing it at $449.99. Also, you can set price alerts in Keepa so you get notified when the price drops. Waiting for the right price and using alerts has saved me hundreds on my most recent build.
If you are in the US I would suggest Microcenter. I got mine today for $450.
@@IhatethisShi Thanks but I'd have to spend $40 in gas and half my day to get to my nearest Microcenter.
@@MunkeyChips probably do online ordering from them. They're still cheaper than Amazon.
This is the only channel I watch before buying anything. Keep the videos comin g.
I bought the XIAOMI Curved Gaming Monitor 34-Inch instead from Banggood. Much cheaper
What are the spec

Please review the HP Omen 27i and keep up the great work. Also it would be great to know if the screens you review are also suitable for mixed usage and not always only about gaming.
I see 3 likes but 0 views... Something wrong there 😂
So looking at this, is the optix worth the huge price increase?
I snagged this monitor, on sale, using all my Amazon gift cards and out of pocket only paid about 300 cash.
I received a gaming computer for Christmas that had a 1070 MSI gpu, and I am running about 75 fps consistently.
I worried about getting an ultra wide, maybe I was going too far. I need not have worried and now, I don’t think I could go back. The AOC has been amazing. Doom Eternal runs flawlessly.
got this monitor a few weeks ago, absolute steal !!!!
