Same issue with the DuoMid on the non-DCF model, brand new and factory seam sealed. I just added more seam seal to the area.
I think the issue is a thicker thread is used in the area, thus large holes made when sewing. As the thread gets saturated, there’s just a pathway for the water to drip down that’s created. In my case, the drip was in the same spot on either side of the center.
The tarp was seam sealed really nice, with the exception of this one area. Looked like they forgot a spot.

Hey Andrew! Hmmm not sure if it makes me happy or sad that I'm not the only one lol. And yes agreed, it's like the nylon bit that holds the wand or whatever turns into a wick and pulls moisture inside. Hoping the DCF did the trick. Overall I still love MLD stuff, I suppose all tents have their issues.

Imagine me: First trip out with a sparkling new Zpacks Triplex…set tent up, out all day and returned to find what would be 36 holes in my tents netting!! (Mice just needed to eat my Nalgene cap!) Ended up being 36, 2 sided Tenacious repairs! A OCD nightmare!! All repairs had to be symmetrical..took all day! I keep trying to remind myself…”Chicks dig scars!!” 👍😜👍

Oh no! I'd probably have a panic attack haha. For what's it's worth, they mice have been attacking my 4Runner on all my recent trips.

If you don't have a tennis ball or something like that with you, you can use the part that you peeled of the tape to apply pressure und rub

That's a really solid idea, Adrian! Thanks for the comment.
