For bugs, I just use those UL mosquito covers used for baby carriages. They are sewn like a silk liner and you can just place your pad inside.

Do you have an example link of that? Sounds like something I'd be interested in

Interested in a follow up video on your bivy and this tarp, if you have installed some interior tie-outs.

Great look at a Zpacks Flat Rectangular tarp. I have long eyed off one of these but never seen one in person or even on a video. Nice job Viscous. A good service you have done providing this video. I asked Joe last year if I could get one of these flat tarps in Camo Cuben - he said no. Didnt want to add more SKU's to his product line. Sad. But I understand. BB

Green cuben or camo adds a substantial amount to the total cost. I went with plain ol white and it works fantastic.

hi, it would be interisting to try with the tarp with doors for hammock.

I think my HMG 8x10 tarp is very similar yet has more tieouts along the edges. Since I often see stormy weather I wanted the additional tie-outs . Otherwise I would have gone with Zpacks.

@@geraldhenrickson7472 Yeah, I ended up making my own tarp for max tieouts. Essential when I slept at 10,500 feet in high winds in the Sierras a few months ago.

    Nice review guys!
Have you tried any other pitches. I use an 8x10 sil tarp. Im curious how the cuban handles other pitches. Subbed

Nice video and gear review. Trying to get into using a tarp for the summer months, but don't know if I can do this for the winter months. What is it like camping overnight in the snow with this set up? Cheers!

Not much different than in a tent. I do carry a DCF bathtub floor in winter usually

Viscous Landan got it. Really like this set up and considering this tarp in the near future. Cheers

Price? I'm guessing too much. For a tarp.

Why spend all that money on a tarp and cheap out on the sleeping pad

So, you’ve never spent days on end in none stop rain, ice and snow, in wind, with mosquitoes so thick you can barely breath. I’d like to hear a review of the tarp after that. Thanks for your review. Texas

So you've never heard of bivies or net tents. And you've also never seen the many ways to pitch these tarps to alleviate the conditions you're talking about either. Stick to your canvas boy scout pup tent, champ.
