Saw them 1987 in Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮 with special guest W.A.S.P after this album was released on this particular tour "Somewhere On Tour". Back then as a younger 'boy' and still gotta say the whole musical experience was awesome. "Somewhere In Time" album is almost like a consept.... Glad you decided to listen... the guitars really work in this track....where others feel like they are just thrown in?.....not to say they not good...but here it really works for me....But we all have personal tastes and there not always the same.

But fav song it "Stranger In A Strange land".....It's more mellow than the normal Maiden style...It's just I've always felt like a stranger in a strange land and being all alone....since losing by partner to cancer in 2017 I really have.
Oh man, that's hard. My heart goes out to you. Unfortunately I'll be getting some firsthand experience in that feeling in the not so distant future. It's not cancer buut it's terminal. Poppa Eric's arteries, veins and capillaries are calcifying and there's no cure and they've stopped giving him the only half-assed treatment there is. We're hoping we can get that decision reversed but it's unlikely. I hope you won't mind if I said I'll be praying for you. 🤘Rock On!🤘

Your point makes a lot a sense. Thats because this album and SSOSS have more input from Adrian Smith and less of the Steve Harris formula. The same will happen with Bruce solo work. Even having Roy Z in all albums except Skunkworks the best two albums got Adrians touch
