I've actually never heard of pear bread. but I am absolutely obsessed with anything dealing with peers I love the fruit. this recipe looks delicious and you are an amazing cook I can tell. you should do a segment on just pears! Lol thank you so much for the recipe!

Dear Diane, I tried your recipe one week ago, I loved it! I just forgot to write a comment, but now I can tell that the cake got better and better day by day. I think it is nice to leave it for 1-2 days, so that the taste gets nicely united. I would be very interested, what would you suggest for a Christmas cake. I only make this recipe as shown, so I unable to respond to your question. The great results I achieve with this bread is from the written recipe.
I made it today with just the baking soda (and no baking powder). Turned out perfect. Thank you for the recipe!!
