Main points: 0.It is about Old Currency Building which is in Kolkata. 1. Constructed in 1833 near the crossroad of Dalhousie square (Kolkata) 2.It was built for Bank of Agra. 3. It is a 3 storey building and design was inspired by Italian architecture 4. In 1868,this building was handover to Issue and Exchange of Govt. currency . Because of this, it's name became OLD CURRENCY BUILDING. 4. RBI was also operating in the same building 5.In 1984,CPWD (Central Public Works Department) ordered to raze(demolish) this building.(reason is not stated in this video) 6.Some of its section was demolished including its main dome. 7.But, In 1986, on the petition filled by The High Court demolition stopped. 8. Responsibility of restoration of this building was given to Archaeological Survey Of India. 9. 2018-reconstruction started. 10. PM will inaugurate Victoria Memorial, Metcalfe Hall including OLD CURRENCY BUILDING today.(14/01/2020) 11. In upcoming time, this building will be use for museum and exhibition purpose.

Why Indian archaeology department showing partiality toward South , especially to Tamil Nadu. In India, 60 % of the founded Epigraph have Tamil inscriptions. For Carbon Dating the samples that found in Keezhadi Excavation, Central government lend only 1 lakh rupee from that only 2 samples can be send out of 5300 samples. But from Kalibangan 28 samples , Dholavira 20 samples, Khirasara 15 samples. 2005 adichanallur archeological results were still not published by ASI. Only Tamil Nadu Government sanctioned 5 cores for Keezhadi Excavation but Central Government (ASI) just sanctioned 50 lakhs for keezhadi excavation.
