I think moving forward that Hasbro should use the clear plastic EVERY chance they get when it comes to goggles and eye wear. That looks amazing and does so much for the Eels. Torpedos would look awesome as well. Imagine what LowLight would look like with the same clear lenses but red. Overall this is one of my favorite figures.
Definitely wish he would have come with another weapon, in surprised they don't have a "go-to" weapon to go with all Troops like the Alley Viper one that you said
I really like the Alley Viper weapon and would have no issue if that was the “generic” gun they used for troops that didn’t come with one in the O-Ring line.

Amazon will most likely restock these. They didn't buy this exclusive just to have it one time and sell it completely out. I will be surprised if they don't restock this at least one more time.
Great review! I'm supposed to get 6 of them tomorrow from Amazon. I think this figure looks really good. I agree with you though that he needed his traditional harpoon gun. Reusing torpedoes harpoon was a little bit lazy. Yeah a small submachine gun or at least a sidearm with a holster on the opposite leg would have been cool.
Back packs are always too loose. They fall off quickly. Except if you don't play with them. But quickly come off if you use them or bring em in different positions. Only my opinion.
I so wanted one of these. The only way to get it in Canada was to get raped by shipping charges on hasbro pulse. If you could I so would have picked up another fortnight boat. Thats retailing fro 30 buckson amazon. I would have painted it green and got a cooperhead for it so they could attack the joes on my other fortnight boat. Why the hell is a troop builder A BLOODY EXCLUSIVE!?! Yeah let amazon have an exclusive repaint eel. That would be just fine. But the base one? WTF?
No. The shoulders look fine, his overlay which is part of the suit he wear makes it look like the shoulders don’t sit right. When you look at it you see that it his armor where Torpedo doesn’t have that so his shoulders don’t look that way.
This is one of the reasons im thinking about quitting collecting. They make sought after army builders exclusive and I couldn't get even one of em. Tired of Hasbro's bs
Well I agree that this shouldn’t have been an Amazon exclusive but they already said there will be more coming, so I wouldn’t worry too much if you missed out.
that's kind of cheap of them to use the same molds for both characters, especially for the price point that they are marked at. if the company wants to be that cheap then they should lower their price point.
Ummmmm….almost every figure reuses parts from other figures, and not just Hasbro. Valaverse does it, MOTU is full of reuse and so on and so on. This is how they are able to make more and new figures.

The big helmet is what I'm missing from the O rings. The clasdified viper and techno viper heads are much smaller than their classic helmets
I’m fine with the helmets not being over sized, they look better IMO
Got my 2 eels and artic bats Saturday all of them came in the brown hasbro box my copper head and torpedo didn't.
I’m thinking cause they are “exclusives” they came like that 🤷🏻♂️

Yeah I’m not a fan of the harpoon gun and he had a very distinct one and they should have a firearm

I ended up heating the helmet to go on easier and it allows you to line it up perfectly.
I’ll have to try that and see if it fits better, I don’t see why it wouldn’t but….these aren’t mine so lol
