It is a sign of spiritual maturity and decrement when one is prayerful about all words spoken over them and they hold up every message/teaching/prophecy to the truth and light of Holy Scripture! Sadly, there are people that embrace soothsayers yet they reject prophets and teachers that give words of rebuke, reproof, and correction.
Finally, it is evident that you are sensitive to the spirit of G-d by the sheer fact that you took the first video down not to cause confusion to the Body. Also, your humility and heart for G-d cannot be denied! I hope not one judges because every Believer should be willing to listen and be lead by the spirit not only when it come to social media but especially in their private lives!

Did you know every Bible, every new testament in the world has Paul's epistles in the exact same order, not the case with other material.
      2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Recognizing the order here is absolutely crucial for greater understanding!
      doctrine
      proof
      reproof
      correction
      lastly - instruction in righteousness
Exact same order epistles are given in every NT in the world!
No way to convince me Paul contrived this by his doing, another signature of God......
Reason I share this, first it is amazing!
Secondly - when studying the Bible in detail repeatedly in changes behavior! Correcting behavior becoming closer to righteousness by the act of washing ourselves by the Word!
      God bless!

Thank you for this - this has been weighing on my heart lately. I've been seeing sooo many well-meaning Christians calling fellow siblings in Christ false just because they believe in cessationist theology etc instead of using genuine discernment and testing what they say against Scripture. :( I believe the church is experiencing an over-correction against the false prophets raised up by the devil, and sadly the devil has succeeded in disuniting believers by getting believers to reject anyone who exercises spiritual gifts these days. 😔

If you don’t have discernment and grounded in the word then beware of false prophets and teachers as Jesus warned.
    Matthew 7:15-20
    English Standard Version
    A Tree and Its Fruit
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. 7:32

Being grounded in the Word is key - I continue to be astonished at the lies people swallow. I detest false prophets because I've seen the damage they can do and have been the recipient of it as well. Horrible. Satan and his children always come as angels of light, and that's why they are so insidious. Knowing the Word of God is so critical to our defense in those situations - sometimes God does give us discernment, but sometimes the enemy's teachers and his children can be extremely hard to detect - at first. I have had God step in several times when I couldn't see clearly - and I'm so thankful that he did. I've learned some very valuable lessons.

    "There was much disputation"
Paul describes this in detail - how many times does Paul refer the gospel he gives as "my" gospel? MANY!
How can one accurately discern if a unwillingness or a inability to rightly divide the word of truth exist?
    I say impossible!
Old men will dream dreams, young men will have visions....
This is what we do know will exist in this time
Just be aware even the enemy can be prophetic
    As many comments state -
Do these prophetic claims align with what we should expect to see and hear, now -
Christ died on the cross for our sins, Jesus was entombed for three days and rose again. For the sins of mankind!
Christ returning soon in the air for his bride, then to the earth itself to rule and reign from the throne of David, for 1000 years!
If any claim in anyway disputes this, discard it, its that simple.
No Biblical proof God has ordained any prophet in this era(other than the two witnesses)

A false prophet, by Biblically supported definitions, is someone who prophesies falsely. It is very simple that a person should never say that God has said something unless God has truly said it. Focusing on their intentions is not necessary. As the old adage states, the road to hell is paved wuth good intentions. Wanting to affirm someone might be characterized as a good intention but it is not necessarily a godly intention. If a person claims to prophesy, they are claiming that God has spoken through them. That is not something that should be taken lightly. Why are people trying to defend false prophecies and false prophets? It seems like to do so is to defend taking God's name in vain.
The example from Acts does not demonstrate that a prophet got something wrong. The prophesy was correct and fulfilled. The warning to Paul and pleading he not go was action based upon knowledge of what God said would happen; not saying that God had directed that he not go.
The prophets loved Paul and didn't want him to be persecuted. They did not tell him, however, that God is telling Paul not to go. The fact that this scripture is being twisted to defend false prophesies is an indicator of the aay false prophesy is tolerated and promoted.
The bottom line should be, Stop saying God has spoken when He hasn't and stop feeling pressured to demonstrate gifts that God is not bestowing on you. Concentrate more on displaying the fruit of the Spirit and less on gifts. When God wants gifts to be manifested, we don't need to help Him get it started.
Seek God first. Don't be like the magicians and seers seeking the gifts rather than the Giver.

    • @glasshousetvofficial
      @glasshousetvofficial  28 วันที่ผ่านมา

Thanks for your comment! I never said we should affirm those who get it wrong. I actually said there should be greater accountability, and when people get it wrong they should repent, and there needs to be more care and fear of the Lord here. 1 Thessalonians 5-21 tells us to hold fast to what is good. It’s important we consider this passage as well.
Regarding your comment on Acts, they did say “through the spirit he should not go.”
Acts 21:4 (ESV) And having sought out the disciples, we stayed there for seven days. And through the Spirit they were telling Paul not to go on to Jerusalem.
Acts 21:12 (ESV) When we heard this, we and the people there urged him not to go up to Jerusalem.
The word was right, but their interpretation was wrong. Yes they loved him, but they let their emotions get in the way of what the spirit had already told Paul in Acts 19,20, and 21. So either 1. They misunderstood the word and took it as a warning and told him not to go (wrong interpretation), or 2. Clearly understood the word but told Paul to disobey the instructions of the Holy Spirit for the sake of their affection for him. I personally have to believe (other commentators agree) that it’s #1. This is a clear example of an accurate word, but an inaccurate interpretation, which still happens today.
The point is this: there is failure on both sides. Many speaking when God hasn’t spoken, but also many calling people false prophets who are not. There is plenty of room for improvement on both sides and my prayer is that we would move in discernment, and like you said, seek HIM rather than gifts. All of those things will follow as HE sees fit! God bless you my friend. I appreciate you.

    • @timothyremick9108
      @timothyremick9108 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

@@glasshousetvofficial My comment about affirming was that so many "prophesies" these days are smooth words that affirm the person or church body that the "prophesy" is being declared to. I observe that most prophesies in the Bible are warnings and admonitions rather than affirmations of the intended hearers. People love to hear these words and flock after those who declare them, bestowing great financial wealth upon them.
I do believe that prophesy still occurs. I don't believe it is something a person can do at their own pleasure; it is something God gives when He determines in His will it is appropriate and necessary. I believe a person can quench it and not speak when they should; often because they don't wish t offend those present. But when a true prophesy is being given, I believe it is God speaking through them and if a person is truly being used by God in this manner, they will know it and not utter falsehoods one day and truth from God the next. I don't believe it is something to be practiced or rehearsed until you figure it out and get more things right through more careful couching of the language used or failing to be specific so that what is being "tested" is no more than "word salad".
I appreciate your ministry and spirit in which you deliver your thoughts.
I pray that all of us who call ourselves Christians would pray more for discernment as the world becomes more apostate around us so that we are not deceived by the false prophets and teachers as they become more and more prevalent.

@@timothyremick9108 Hey brother - you make a lot of good points here. I operate in the prophetic and the Word of Knowledge, and I can attest that much of what you are saying has been my experience and the experience of those that I know who (truly) operate in these gifts. Speaking for myself, what you said about being able to prophesy at the behest of one's own will versus as when directed to do so by God, is absolutely true and this is where I find the most error in venues like TH-cam. Prophesy isn't always about correction or rebuke, although I have found that to be the case in some instances. An attitude of humility in the heart of someone who God is using to speak is so critical... I cannot even begin to tell you. It is VERY easy to get puffed up in pride when you are used in this manner, but if your heart is right, or rather you are submitted to God, he is very good about keeping that stuff in check.
What you said about couching language to obfuscate error or make a "word" so general that it could be applied to just about anything is also very true. People need to understand something about those who operate in the gifts - that is NOT a sign of being right with God or being above the fray as a believer. Remember what Paul said to the church of Corinth - that they displayed the power of the Holy Spirit and even operated in the gifts, but yet they were CARNAL. This is something that God has had to remind me of time and again. Also in 1st Corinthians 13 - you can have every gift there is, but if you don't have LOVE that stuff is all worthless. Love is the base that any prophet of God operates out of - they HAVE to, otherwise they are doomed to fall into spiritual pride and there's nothing uglier than someone who has that gift but operates out of pride. Just like any minister, keeping a true and constant perspective about who they are and who GOD is, will abate any prideful tendencies.
Anyways, all great points brother - really good. Just wanted to say so.

@@velkyn1 I see. So the numerous prophecies that Israel would be a nation, cease to be a nation and then not only be a nation but a cup of trembling (Jerusalem) to the entire world, were all false prophesies despite the fact that they happened exactly as foretold, and Jerusalem is indeed the focal point of this entire world (in a bad way). Got it.

@@TrueSight_333 Curious how those aren't prophecies at all, and no more than the usual lies from christians who simply take things out of context. Which is always fun since you guys whine about context all of the time. They didn't happen as foretold, as you admit since Jerusalem was supposed to become the good focal point of the world. You are hilariously incompetent, TS.
What I like the best is that your end times lies depend on the false claims of prophecy, and already christians are trying to refigure how their "prophecies" work since your imaginary friend hasn't returned when they predicted. You are already trying to change your claims about the founding of Israel being the "right" date, and trying to gain a few years by changing that to when Israel got the west bank, etc.
