I just got my Pok3r delivered today and this video was very helpful. Personally I changed my caps lock to be the function keyboard and I'm VERY happy that I can navigate the arrows without having to scrunch my right hand.

Been using Cooler Master Quickfire XT with MX Blues for a bit more than a year now. Never coming back to membrane. Of course, colleagues at work used to hate me for the noise but they got used. And now here I am watching a video on how to program Pok3r while waiting for mine to arrive from Massdrop.

i want to have hjkl as arrow keys on the fn layer. but pressing fn at the default position and then one of hjkl at the same time seems a little crampy .. you said in the vid that the FN key can be moved .. can i swap FN and LeftAlt such that for up arrow i can press LeftAlt Key (newly assigned to FN) and k? Is that possible?

I've been using a mechanical keyboard with browns for 4 years. I can't go back. Never tried a programmable one tho until the Pok3r RGB.
Question before buying: I'm planning to go for a Vortex Race 3 (ISO) that, according to manual, can be programmed exactly as the pok3r. Do you think I can program a layer to have a full Italian layout? Can I program a key to send, say, è or € or ú and so on?

Great video. Just purchased my Poker 3. Is it possible to change combinations of shift and 2 key for example so it types @ character instead of " which it is by default. I have an iMac running Sierra and I've several keys which are typing the wrong character I would like to correct. Many thanks David
I just got this keyboard with Cherry MX Blue switches and loving it. All I wanna do is put the Function Key on the left and Windows key on the right.
Did you ever get this to happen? I am messing with mine now and having to reset it A LOT trying to get this to work, I dont care if I end up losing the windows key function to be honest but Ideally I want to do EXACTLY what you are trying to do

Something like fn + b set to ctrl + left arrow key.
Is it possible to program the function layer? For example I don't want to switch between layers but I just want to move the arrow keys from IJKL to WASD so that I can jam away better in excel
The ability to change where the FN key is great. I'm just finding out about this after owning the keyboard for 3 years. It would be great if I could have the FN key at it's default location as well as where left ctrl is. Thanks for the tutorial. Bit annoying having to always stay in layer 2 and having the light on in order to have switch FN.
You Can turn of the light. I think it’s like Fn + A or something. Don’t remember try some letters
It doesn’t turn of at first. It just makes it shine less and less until it’s off

I used to make cables and sell them, a complete how to for USB cables is still on my list of videos. I honestly don't remember where I got the red ESC from.
Somehow, I made key "w" only work as up key, can you give me some idea how to bring the actual "w" back? I tried FN + R to reset it, however, it seems that did not work.
You should just be able to map that key back to itself, as the programming assigns the value of the base layer. If neither that nor the reset works, I would try reflashing the firmware.

Wait what advantage do these keyboards have over free online softwares like lua macros and auto hot key for remapping the keys and programming them as macros?
They macros stay with the keyboard, meaning if you reformat or switch between computers, you don't have to worry about recreating the macros or updating the macros on multiple different computers. Plus, once you get the hang of it, it's a lot easier to just punch in a macro than it is to open software, and create one.
You can pick up the keyboard, go to your friend's house or even to China and still have the same configurations.
Once a layout-configurator-flash-utility gets made so you can configure custom key mappings and rgb from a gui, this keyboard will be end game
just picked up the pok3r rgb limited edition with mx silvers. i have now 4 keyboards hahaha

No, you can't program key combinations as a trigger outside of Fn+[KEY]

A lot of people do this, a more ergo angle for peoples thumbs. I keep mine backwards as well.
