just soldered leds to my vortex vibe, and the controls are pretty much exactly the same. nice and helpful, fast explanation here!
one nice additional feature: the custom color keys are per layer, i use it to highlight the keys that are changed/have an override on this key layer

Wow, this was helpful! I havent seen a single video say anything about PN+9 or PN+0 and I found them accidentally on the day I got my Pok3r and it didnt have any lights on by default.
Also I didn't know about the color presets :O I just thought 0 and 9 were different custom-modes and that's it.
My brightness control (4:25) doesnt seem to work at all, what I might be doing wrong?
have you tested if brightness control works on other LED modes? brightness adjustment might not apply to all modes. Yeah, I can't even recall which one works because it is so complicated.
Menu key and C/V works for me. Not X/V like he said :). Love this keyboard but yes so complicated :D
Is there anyway to assign a color to the menu button? I hate that it becomes greyed out when you load a custom profile
Follow these steps (this is easy. I just made a step by step list so people don't fuck it up)
1. Press Menu + 9 or 0 (go into the custom profile editor)
2. Select the color you want the menu key to be
3. Press Windows + Space + Right Alt (This turns the menu key into an arrow key, disabling its default function)
4. Press the Menu key (Setting the color of the key)
5. Press Windows + Space + Right Alt again (Returning the "menu" function to the menu key)
6. Press Menu + 9 or 0 (exit the custom profile editor)

Is there a way to combine the effect of menu/pn +4 with keeping a key lit using pn+9?
Unfortunately it is not possible with the current firmware
@@MyEverydayTech can you help me, when i put full colors such as white and other bright colors on the other half of the keyboard is a different color... white=yellow and pink=red when i customly put them on it still does the same thing please help

Thank you, works on my Vortex Pok3r RGB Limited Edition CHERRY MX BROWNS. Menu button aka PN. I resetted the keyboard with holding both ALT buttons/keys so I was like wtf where did my colours go :D so this video helped. This keyboard rules

Is there a way to change the brightness to the profile you save to Pn + -? When I set the individual keys to the color I want the keys are shining at full brightness and I'd like to tone it down.
When you choose which colour, just choose the dimmer colour before assigning to the key.
