  • Carbon’s 3D printer uses light to chemically grow an object out of liquid. We visited their facilities to see it in action and learn more about their lattice technology used for developing running shoes and football helmets.

    interesting, to bad you can only work with resins and such, if there is was a way to make something similar to that work with metals and other materials it would change the world

    75k a year is ridiculous, I bet it only uses proprietary resins and software but I wonder why is the machine so expensive, can’t they redesign it and lower the price for a consumer market?

    surprise surprise.. their printers have to do the delamination (de-stick) move too... clip is dead
