There's no words to express how brilliant your research and information are. I made my first pour yesterday, after studying a lot of your videos and my main issue points (aside from a hair drier that wasn't strong enough) were all to do with paint density, and my white that sank to the bottom, like one of your other videos. I will most definitely be using your chart for every future painting I do, because it's stuff like that which really gives you the cutting edge of the mechanics behind every composition. Looking very much forward to the demo video of the chart, and seeing how to alter paint density to achieve more control! 🔬♥

Me too in being right-brained gal; not so scientifically blessed (understatement!). I love how I can learn how science of mixing right type paints will, for instance, create cells even w/o silicone.
My problem is that I ficus & it all makes sense...until the end. When I try to put it in my own words for notes, or recall what ya' said -- it's all "jumbly" in my head. I hate that!
What I got (now) to recall upon trying is just:
"Heavy paints go down & light paints go up...then magic happens & cells show up!"
Sonehow, I think I missed sonething!?!

I'm very glad I watched till the end because I was about to ask about craft paints because I mostly use craft paints (I don't have tons of money and I purely do this as a hobby) but so far I've kind of learned on my own how they react with each other. They do have differences in their densities but it's not as much as with more high quality acrylics.

Exactly. You can vary densities with experience but it isn't as easy to do something scientific like this without knowing the pigments.

Forgot to say I enjoyed watching you do the experiment. Like a little lava lamp. I was hoping you would shake it.☮️💖🎶

I did shake it the first time I did it. It was so murky you couldn't see the interactions though. Putting some dish soap in and then shaking also made some crazy stuff happen.
