BEAGLE my father was a professional Beagle breeder for Beagles. Beagles are extremely trainable. However, they are a working dog breed. They need lots of stimulation if they are not allowed to hunt. Again, they are a WORKING dog and need a job to do. If not given a job, they have to do something with their constant curiosity and energy.
I have had a couple of labs, but grew up with cocker spaniels. The cocker spaniel not only makes any lab look like a genius, they are incredibly wilful in the most ditzy way. They make my labs look like angels.

I have a cockerpoo and she is the naughtiest dog I’ve ever known (I have a lifetime of fostering prospective guide dogs for the blind so I have known a LOT of dogs!). I’ve always said stupid dogs are easy but intelligent dogs are clever enough to work out how to get up to all kinds of things. A stupid dog will do what you tell it to but an intelligent dog will work out creative and interesting ways around your rules and manipulate the heck out of you without you realising until they already got away with it! My cockerpoo has a slight mouth deformity and it enables her to do this expression that reminds me of a caracature stereotype geeky kid smile, and no one can keep a straight face when she does it. She totally understands that she can melt anybody’s heart with that grin and boy does she use it to her advantage! I also have a labradoodle and a cockerjack who are giant mischiefs too so my house is never boring. I swear 90% of what I smile and laugh at in a day is something to do with them. Animals truly are the best therapy!
I currently have my late grandmother's jack russell and he was a mischevious little devil when she first got him. He snuck into a room while I was changing there and bit me where a man must never be bitten, which was his greatest sin. Though his usual was just destroying toilet paper, and aggressive zoomies around the house, going face first into the fridge or door, a past time he still gets up too now and again when he gets excited, though he's a good 10 years old now so he's not quite as active or crazy. My first dog, A golden Retreiver, was probably a specialist at food thievery. She may have well been the best dog I ever had. She was a definite food hound though. One time we had gotten pizza and my younger brother had his slice sitting on the table unattended and she just jumped up in front of the whole family, grabbed the slice and walked off eating it. She looked so apologetic while she ate it and watched my brother cry because his pizza was stolen. The rest of us were laughing hysterically.
Leroy and Rosie, you are Sooo right about dachshunds being #1! Even at almost 11 yrs of age, my wire-haired doxie, Billy the Kid, will STILL tear up any book, magazine, or paper if it falls on the floor. 8-/
i remember one halloween my yorkie found my halloween bag (mind you the bag was on a table) and somehow untied it and ate half my candy. He had such a bad sugar rush that night, we gave him lots of water and he was fine the next day. I miss him so much. He was such a smart dog. He lived a long 14 years.
My Pomeranian was awful - she would actually look around and see what trouble she could get into lol. She did outgrow it though and she is my adorable baby.
Haha, i ve had a beagle and a dachshund and i totally agree! They are absolutly adorable but they try to ruin everything! My beagle loved unwinding whole packs of toilettepaper in the whole apartment! That means toilette paper kneedeep! But they are so loveable when they look at you!
We have 11 beautiful dachshunds who think they are beavers! They also eat furniture and dig the stuffing out of mattresses and chairs! They also love to eat linoleum floors. Good luck dachshund owners. May God have mercy on your home!
When I was looking to get a dog, one of the many books that I consulted for advice pretty much warned that it was a bad idea to have 1 beagle as a solitary pet as they enjoy being in packs. However, like a cat that hears a can opener and which then springs into action....Blossom turned into a speed demon when she heard ANY kind of food being prepared. Her big weakness was food, you dared not leave it unattended. She once ate most of a large roast, and was so full afterwards she wouldn't move, OR EAT, for several days.
We were once unloading groceries from trunk of car and while closing trunk between load inadvertently shut our cat spike inside and when we found him only moments later mind you he had torn into a big family size package of ground beef and eaten what looked to be nearly his own body weight he had a similar reaction lol
Beagles indeed...trouble wrapped up in disarming cuteness. Mine destroyed our sofa and livingroom carpet in the process of house-training, and walking her is a Nantucket sleighride..but I
My beagle was a sweet, easygoing boy who never misbehaved. And my niece’s beagle lived out his life in a one bedroom apartment and didn’t destroy anything I know of.
My brother had a pitbull terrier his name was Bruno. He was the most lovable good as gold. He hated the neighbor who didnt like him and she would yell at him for no apparent reason. He was always in a fenced in yard. There was no reason for him to get out. He would leave the yard at night, and go next door and rearrange the neighbors rock garden. And push those big rocks all the way to her front door. Then get back home and waite for the fireworks. FUNNY!!

Neither one of my labs ate anything that was not food. And stealing food that’s out in the open goes for most any dog. My labs well my golden passed have a black lab now is 9 still acts like a puppy and hyper. But omg the love these dogs give is amazing and awesome with kids. I only had females. They love to snuggle and be with you.
I had a poodle-something mix (maybe a Maltese, maybe a Bichon Frisée, not sure) that liked to steal socks and underwear and then run away to get us to play with him. It was a game to him. His name was Harvey.
My roommate has a York is that will chew on metallic trim on her clothes or shoes and her jewelry. He waits until she goes into another room to check the table next to her recliner for any object that is shiny or metallic. He often hides it to chew on it when she leaves the room again or goes to work the next day.
My Cane Corso puppy is half tornado and Tazmanian Devil. His night tirades can be destructive. He has a lot of property to run on. I play with him endlessly with his toys. I am told he will mellow with age. I hope so 😂
Love it. My Yorkie Lola loves to get paper towels and destroy them. She’s also a master thief of house slippers and socks. When I don’t hear her I know she’s into something. I still love her cause she’s a riot.
Doesn't surprise me to see so many terrier types on this list. Although my rat terrier seems to be pretty atypical by this list, now, when she was younger, she really had difficulty listening when she made up her mind to do something. Her son seems to be a blend of every type of "naughtiness" listed. He's of course half rat terrier, and the other parts are American Staffordshire terrier and some form of English terrier (my nephew, who owns the sire, claims that both sides of his male had won shows, but can't tell what type his dog's dam was, other than "English terrier.") He's a perennial puppy, and will get into all sorts of mischief, the second you turn your back. I think that most, if not all terriers have some sort of "naughtiness."
My "favorite" thing my dog did is, after being told many times not to touch my Pilot pens, took one, chewed it up...I came out of the bathroom to find her in a pool of black ink. At my shriek she took off running, leaving black pawprints all over the carpet and couch. I decided to just get a wood floor! And keep my pens out of reach...
I have a beagle and cheweenie he could be considered the number 1 breed but my beagle lives up to his name his favorite thing to do is to get into the trash he gets himself caught all of the time I think it is out of sheer boredom he just needs to be entertained
I have a Yorkie, she is very very good!!,! She sleeps on my bed, she does her stuff on a special paper and never misses it.... so... I have also a Maltese, she is soo good, extra good, and we also have a chihuahua.... she is naughty, she pees 9n top of my daughter’s bed every time she goes out and forgets to close the door of her bedroom. We also have a handicapped cat, she is very good. We live 8n an aoartment, and all is very well.....
I have had many dogs and the only dog that have done anything 'naughty' is my current one. But as a 14 months old pup who had lived in a small cage in a puppy mill where they bred fighting dogs in ireland. He had anxiety issues because of the very large house he now lived in. It never showed when we were at home only when alone, even for 5 minutes. I can vouch for that in 9 minutes a dog can eat a down pillow and duvet and spread feathers in the whole house...eat a video cam, a large binocular and two different shoes (typical)...i found feathers almost a year after the 'accident'. I talked to a 'dog psychiatrist' and he suspected that he had too much room and suggested a baby gate. so for a year he was confined to the kitchen when alone. A big window a really large kitchen with no door, only a wooden gate and today he is absolutely cool when alone in the house.
I have a Jack Russell terrier and he's not that hyper (only if he sees a cat) he's very calm and he does not brake stuff, but only his toys and he loves when someone pets him❤❤❤
As you can see I have two jack Russells. They're very calm and sweet. That is because they are sneaks. They are lulling me into a false security. Whamo, torn tissue everywhere! They don't do it often. They want to keep me off guard! C
We had a lab we got at 8 weeks old , we took him on vacation with us , left him in the room cause we were going out to eat , when we got back he had chewed a hole into a flat wall ! We don't know how ? But did a good job at it , like you we Love dogs & he got in No trouble for it , but was funny, 🐾💖
both of my family's Labradors were escape artists and you knew who our last Lab wanted attention from--he would wander into the same room as the owner of the shoe, socks, cap, clothes etc he had in his mouth--the clothes weren't chewed but they were well slobbered
I have a 9 month old labradoodle who is bigger than a german shepaed, he does all these things my house is a mess all the time. I have had many dogs who have died of old age and not one of them was naughty just Milo. I chuckle because it is like having a couple toddlers. Im in my 60s so it is nice to have kids around. Lol He is so hard to walk since he is so strong im having a fence put around my yard so he can run and play.
I have a mongrel, named Milo. A yr old now. He is playful and intelligent but can't rate him as naughty. He is neither lazy . But he is super intelligent.
I live in rural Upstate South Carolina. Many years ago, my young son and I visited the county animal shelter. We came home with a beautiful black and tan pound puppy, who my five year old named Fluke. He was a lab/rottie mix and chewed everything he could get his mouth on during his younger years! Fluke especially liked shoes and underwear. He finally quit this habit around age two, but when he was outside, Fluke was really aggressive towards other male dogs that came within sight of our property. If a human visitor pulled into our driveway, Fluke sounded like he was going to eat them alive! If the visitor had courage enough to step out of the car, Fluke immediately stopped barking, 'smiled' and wagged his entire back half as if to say, 'Just kidding!' I think this was aggression toward the vehicle, not humans. The neighbors loved him (better than a security system). He never bit a single human. That ol' boy was the best dog I ever had. He and my son grew up together and Fluke lived to be seventeen. I miss him dearly. I encourage others who are planning to adopt a dog (or cat) to visit your local animal shelter first. You may find your next 'Best Friend' there! Also check out Petfinder.com if you prefer to look online. There are links to various animal rescues and you can sign up for updates on your searches.
I have an Irish wolfhound and she´s very calm, super friendly and sweetnatured girl as wolfhounds tends to be, however she does have some naughty sides: 1: Sofa-hogging! She´s a big girl and takes up a whole three-seater sofa. Her favorite sofa happens to be the one that I use the most, and to make her leave it can be a chore sometimes! She weighs a tonne and is proud of it! 2: Pretending to be a lapdog! When she´s in cuddlemode she walks up to her sitting victim, turns around and then backs up until she´s basicly half-sitting in her victims lap, and if the victim tries to shoo her away, her response is always to press down her behind even harder, pinning her victing to the seat! 3: Using people as a towel! Everytime that she had a drink of water from her bowl she always runs up to me (Or whoever that happens to be nearby) and pretends that she wants to be petted. That´s only a ruse!! What she really wants is to wipe her dripping and shaggy snout on your pants! Quirks aside, I love her to bits! By far the best dog I ever had the pleasure of knowing!
I have a Tibetan spaniel. He isn’t aloud on the table but when he thinks I’m not watching he gets on it and then pretends he doesn’t know how he got there.
I've had 4 dachshunds and I wouldn't say they are particurarly naughty. If they are happy and stimulated they are nice! They are smart, they will tell you if you aren't meeting their needs.
I have a beagle and she used to be pretty naughty at times during her first year and a half...but now the only thing naughty she does is takes my socks but she'll return them in one piece. She loves the play like that lol. The only other thing is her tearing up the bottom of the siding of the house from chasing lizards. That hunting drive is so strong. I can't get her to stop lol. But I love her to death
again, you left out the chihuahua. mine will outpace all of these in naughty. mine was so bad he got banned from the bedroom last night. and then i had to sleep in the living room with him to keep him from whining all night.
My boy doxie was very smart so we had to ‘baby’ proof to keep him out of the trash can and cabinets. Even for trips to grandma and grandpa’s house they would have to come up with new ways to keep him out of the snack cabinet 😂
Dogs are so funny and playful. But I don't think people should shout at them, + definitely not smack them. or kick them, which is just disgusting, as some people are lazy, + ignorant + selfish of the dog's needs, and they aren't walked enough + shut away. This lack of attention leads to frustration and destruction. This is the 'owners' own fault. But funny video, love seeing dogs playing, so innocent 💜🐶💜🐻
You forgot Staffordshire Bull Terriers. My 2 only listen when they want to, if there's food involved, or if I get so pissed at their disobedience I do my hooman equivalent of a growl which has them stopped dead in their tracts😄 I love my Dog's, Staffiea are amazing but they're so f'in stubborn!
What about Chinese Cresteds...not naughty in the same sense but some are notoriously difficult to potty train. I have 30 years with the breed. Some have no issues but the select few that do, will pee or poo on things they ought not. Like your bed. It’s not like I don’t know how to potty train a pup either. Usually they do their business outside. But if the opportunity presented itself, one old girl wouldn’t pass up the opportunity during her lifetime. Don’t be discouraged from getting one though; they are unique and wonderful.
I cannot believe you made a list of naughty dogs and did not include the Cairn Terrier. My sweet girl gets bored and if Mama doesn't think of something for her to do, she will think of something for the schnauzer and her to do (poor boy, I do rarely scold him, but he gets upset when the fun "games" are interrupted by that party pooper, Mama, but he will immediately come and love on Mama because she's upset with the girl). I many times just let them go, she will get bored with the new game soon, as long as they aren't harming anything. One time I bought a ball about the size of a tennis ball that lit up. We'd play with it at night for a bit and then I'd put it away and start the night time routine. One day she saw it where I'd put it on the tall dresser (I put it where they couldn't get to it for fear they'd chew on it and get to batteries or light bulbs). She started jumping to get up on the dresser (absolutely not working). The schnauzer and I watched for a bit and left her to it. After a while she started barking and growling (she rarely barks, not even at squirrels or the UPS guy). I went to see what on Earth was trying to enter the house through the bedroom (a rat?). No, she was trying to intimidate the dresser into giving her the ball. I laughed so hard. The schnauzer was extremely confused and we let her try that tactic, it didn't work.
Always have to consider what your dog was breed to do. Don’t expect a rat terrier not to eat your hamster, or a lab not to get in the lake. Dogs do what they were bred to do. And of course, have your dog spayed or neutered. I’m always surprised by the people that call the dog trainer for problem behavior and don’t have their dog fixed.
Spayed and neutered dogs cannot be used for breeding, so all puppies that come from a proper, responsible breeder will have parents that behave well while being intact. If you know this is the case for your puppy, you can expect it to be well behaved even if you keep it intact, as long as you provide proper care, training and stimulation. While it is true some behavior issues can be avoided by castration, other issues can actually arise as a consequence of not having the proper sex hormones. Nervousness and separation anxiety is more common in "fixed" dogs. I would encourage dog owners to find out as much as possible from multiple sources before deciding on a spay or neuter (and at what age to do the procedure). If they choose to leave their dog intact they need to be very careful not to cause any unwanted litters.
I think my border collie husky mix is the NAUGHTIEST dog on earth. since he was a puppy he has chewed 10 remotes 157 newspapers 89 magazines three iPads one TV to phones one laptop and 12 laptop keys 2 mattresses five couches 37 blankets 34 socks 8 pool noodles 227 dog toys 28 shoes 75 flip flops 14 portable crates 7 tennis balls 2 chicken coops and eaten 12 loaves of bread 2 servings of spaghetti 89 bags of dog treats 2 bananas 6 bags of chips and 2 burritos and that’s just SOME it.
Ha! And here I think my Chorkie is a total brat. Mine is just spoiled rotten (my fault )She's never chewed anything in 10 years. I've never, ever spanked her. Every once in a while I'll give her commands in Spanish and she understands perfectly. (Smarter than my kids in that category ) Ha!
I can verify Labs are smart and active--our first Lab was a YMCA camp dog during the summer--she loved having many kids to play with every day but she was very good at reminding the boys to play nice--we have a suspicion that because her dad cleared a 6 foot fence, he probably was a Doberman because our Lab was very protective of my mother and little sister-she was less protective of me because I was stronger than my dad as an 8th grader with a formidable temper

My labs well my golden passed have a black lab now is 9 still acts like a puppy and hyper. But omg the love these dogs give is amazing and awesome with kids. I only had females. They love to snuggle and be with you.
Just subscribed. I think Chihuahuas should be on they list.
Thank you.
Love to see you guys
My Maltese takes all our socks 😂😂
Is your Maltese a boy or girl
my lhasa apso also steals all the socks...
@@LisaSmith-tz8hs How funny, a sock stealer! Haven't experienced that one yet!
As a Dachshund owner myself, I knew before watching the video, they are the naughtiest of all dogs.
We had an American Cocker, Max, who would chew on ANYTHING he could get his paws on. Right up to the day he died. We miss the little monster.
I've got 2 dachshund/yorkies (dorkies). They are definitely a handfull
Tell me I’m not the only one who noticed the writing on the beer box @1:25 🤣 I’ll take a couple cases!!!
Cavapoos should be on that list! My dog only survives because she's so adorable I can't get mad at her.🐶
Yes loving and definitely active
I have two dachshunds and one yorkshire terrier ; my oh my!!!!! What a handful smh 🤦🏾♀️ ; but I love them regardless of their naughty ways!
❤️❤️❤️
Being too adorable to dispatch with, is a natural defense system for puppies and toddlers.
Maltese or Morkie are great and so smart! gentle, loving and protective.
Joy Watkins Indeed!
Looking into Chorkie?
My "favorite" thing my dog did is, after being told many times not to touch my Pilot pens, took one, chewed it up...I came out of the bathroom to find her in a pool of black ink. At my shriek she took off running, leaving black pawprints all over the carpet and couch. I decided to just get a wood floor! And keep my pens out of reach...
I have a beagle and cheweenie he could be considered the number 1 breed but my beagle lives up to his name his favorite thing to do is to get into the trash he gets himself caught all of the time I think it is out of sheer boredom he just needs to be entertained
4:25😂😂😂😂
I’m surprised the Cairn didn’t make your list
I have a Yorkie, she is very very good!!,! She sleeps on my bed, she does her stuff on a special paper and never misses it.... so... I have also a Maltese, she is soo good, extra good, and we also have a chihuahua.... she is naughty, she pees 9n top of my daughter’s bed every time she goes out and forgets to close the door of her bedroom. We also have a handicapped cat, she is very good. We live 8n an aoartment, and all is very well.....
That sounds awesome! I have been trying to find a good dog for when I decide to get one one day. :D
Aw...it sounds like such a happy household!
I have a Jack Russell terrier and he's not that hyper (only if he sees a cat) he's very calm and he does not brake stuff, but only his toys and he loves when someone pets him❤❤❤
❤
As you can see I have two jack Russells. They're very calm and sweet. That is because they are sneaks. They are lulling me into a false security. Whamo, torn tissue everywhere! They don't do it often. They want to keep me off guard! C
Izabela Maty you are right my baby Russell.. didn’t ruin my house.. he’s hyper if I play with her but if I ignore her she just play with her balls..
I've only ever had labs beagles and English bulldogs lmao 😂. I currently have an English bulldog and a beagle puppy. They were deff handfuls to raise
Know the phrase, "Feast upon the word of God"? One of my old beagles took that literally as a puppy...
He ate your Bible? Oh dear...
Lol
He is so hard to walk since he is so strong im having a fence put around my yard so he can run and play.
Louanne Lewis oh get a shepherd , they will train your other dog’s 😆
I have an Irish wolfhound and she´s very calm, super friendly and sweetnatured girl as wolfhounds tends to be, however she does have some naughty sides:
1: Sofa-hogging!
She sounds amazing ❤❤❤
She is amazing!:)
I have a Tibetan spaniel. He isn’t aloud on the table but when he thinks I’m not watching he gets on it and then pretends he doesn’t know how he got there.
😂😂
I've had 4 dachshunds and I wouldn't say they are particurarly naughty. If they are happy and stimulated they are nice! They are smart, they will tell you if you aren't meeting their needs.
I knew Maltese was on this list!
I agree with the terriers I have a fox terrier and cocker spaniel mix that is very naughty but we love him
I have a beagle and she used to be pretty naughty at times during her first year and a half...but now the only thing naughty she does is takes my socks but she'll return them in one piece.
Fyuri LeBlanc ❤❤❤ LOL... awww... yeah they can be a bit of a handful.
There all soo cute
My boy doxie was very smart so we had to ‘baby’ proof to keep him out of the trash can and cabinets. Even for trips to grandma and grandpa’s house they would have to come up with new ways to keep him out of the snack cabinet 😂
I would put husky on here just because they are notorious escape artists. No matter how much exercise or attention they get lol
Brax Thank you very much :-)
Animal Facts You're welcome 💖
I would replace the Labrador Retriever with the Weimaraner! My girls are always up to no good! lol
I subscribed... i want a daughter like her ❤❤❤
You forgot Staffordshire Bull Terriers.
My hound puppy is quite the naughty boy, but also a very good boy
Awe
Awwwwww! 😂😂😂😂
Dachshunds have to be on the list.
I'm surprised that no one mentioned huskies
How did huskies not make this list?
Maltese. Puppy is 18 weeks old with very high energy.
Beagles are one of the smartest dogs out of any breed, actually.
