This government does not have money to establish courts, improve speed of justice by simply reducing the number of adjournments in the career span of advocates, and judges, such that rape cases are resolved swiftly. But has enough to build statues which are installed by our Chinese bretheren. Our PM screams his guts out "atmanirbhar", "atmanirbhar", but allows payment for Statue of Equality to Chinese...during Galwan crisis. And goes further to pray at that statue! Costs of Statues whether Patel or Ramanuja are mind boggling. How does he expect foreigners to come to this country when they don't even know about this person? Fearing rapes, crimes, and slow justice. So much for tourism...it is only money going to another state...like pull out money from pant pocket to put in shirt pocket. Nothing is earned. Added to that is the fact that these statues are larger than those of gods......I sure understand his understanding of atmanirbhar. Atma is soul, maybe the chaiwala thinks atma is ghost...so he expects ghosts to do the job.
So essentially this is a rough draft of the bill because the government has zero understanding of the purpose and functioning of digital content. Now the government will take cues from the numerous videos that have been made on this bill and redraft to accommodate all that it has missed in the rough draft.
They don't want any real feedback. That is why, feedback was only sought from pro-government influencers aka fake news and hate peddlers. But as per people in the know, this bill will be challenged in the courts and not able to stand.
Instead of restraining public media, they should come up with a more versatile and powerful way of using the digital platform so that the existing players are forced to merge into the governmental system.
