Nice job. I was about to say, as long as the ethernet cable is cat6 and the backend infrastructure is 10G, you are good to go. There is also the read/write speed of the drive and PCI lanes as you mentioned to take intro account.
Awesome video Nick, that's part of the ITX realm in PC building I think. You'll always have to creative and customizable to get things to work in these small setups and this is great. I like the new wall/background looks sleek! I know it's not recommended, but I believe from research online the Cooler Master v1100 and v850 do have the same pinout and you could have used the original cables in the NR200P MAX and used it for the v1100 SFX PSU. This was verified by Cooler Master. The only problem would be the 12VHPWR cable but you didn't have to use that either because it was dead, so your custom cable would still have been utilized.
I pretty much gave up on ITX, the miniscule amount of desktop space savings aren't worth the hassle and extra expense. I run mATX boards in all my rigs these days.
I did the M.2 to 10Gbps ethernet trick about a year ago in my ITX system with an ADT-Link R42ML and an ASUS XG-C100C. Mounted the card with a 3D printed PCIe bracket I designed that raises the card away from the board, works flawlessly!
I looked at the ADT-Link R42ML but I'm the kind of guy that wants to order on Amazon and get it the next day because I get excited about something weird lol.
Just catching this video. There is actually a video out there with a gaming x 4090 in the max. I think he used a 13600k or 13700k. I was honestly surprised it fit myself. Really tempting. Also thank you sincerely for this video. Because I had been seriously contemplating doing the psu thing with the max.

I really love the new wall panels you’ve got but with handheld shots like this 15:07 there is a weird warping in the background, might be from the software stabilisation.
Did you consider using an m.2 to SFP+ card over this? It would future proof the mod a little bit more, but with how WiFi 7 turned out, the need for this type of mod could be moot. Would love to see a 10Gbit vs WiFi 7 (vs Fiber) transfer comparison for the type of files you work with.
how heavy is the NR200??? on amazon its saying 10 pounds. i need a travel case and i like this case but it seems a little big and more importantly really heavy
You probably thought about this but the Qube 500 with a micro ATX build and SFX PSU would forgo the need for case mods or m.2 pcie. That nice little handle on the back of it makes transport easier. However, the glass side panel is a bit scary at times. Wish they would have included an extra mesh panel.

The walls look amazing guys - very sophisticated.
Things are changing around here :D

As someone who drives an ITX, I really appreciate this.
Love the new studio design, good jorb. Having Claire do the advert was nice, i like it 👍
😎😎
Interesting piece of kit ... Im currently upgrading my Proxmox server and looking into stepping up to 10gb ... Studio is looking slick mate 👍

yah just use a computer, component and parts that work.
That studio makeover is looking great!
Thank you!

@@GearSeekers Yeah that's understandable, took me about a month to receive mine from China to the US.
One of the best channels, I really enjoy your videos!
You two are great. Love seeing you happy.
😘😘
Nik you are being a real tease by releasing all these videos in what is clearly a substantially revamped studio, and not giving us a studio tour!
It's my evil plan muwhahaha! That's because it's not quite done yet ☺️

This was great. Learned something new in this video that led me to learning other things. Cool stuff.
"And just like like that ~ bingo ~bango!" LOL. God! I'm proud to be Australian!
Bingo Bango ~ Wasn't he the Lib-National spokesman for communications?
😂😂 Really pushing how Aussie I can go with this

I like these DIY hacks... especially in my fav ITX case :)
I love doing weird stuff like this. Takes me back to the Early 2000's where I used to mod everything
The algorithm gods missed me on this video... the changes you're making look incredible!
How's the temps on the CPU? I'm worried about putting a 13900 or a 14700k into such a small case. Great video!
got 13900 inside of nr200p max together with 4080 or over a year without any issues
Looking forward to the v2
could you have used a mini dtx board? Some of them come with an extra by 4 or 8 slot.
I usually use hardware I already have. Mini DTX boards are not common at all.

I did but I didn't want any SFP+ in this machine. As mentioned in the video. I didn't want to use any tranceivers
that 12vhpwr cable bend ...Yikes
The reason for using this cable is because it doesn't bend.

More nr200p content. Hopefully with MSI 4080S Expert…😊
Soon :D
I’ve just noticed te new black foam panels in the studio .. which brand are they? Where to find them?

I wanted to use the NR200P MAX because it fits where the system is stored and has no TG
@@GearSeekers makes sense.
Can you replaced the 280mm radiator with another brand on this case? Thanks.

Hello.
I was planning on doing the same with a B650I motherboard, do you think that could handle the 10Gb down speed?
As amazing the case as, cooler masters not providijg a variant without a psu and cooler, in my opinion, is a missed opportunity.
They are with the V2 coming very soon
9:50 btw files only cut on the forward stroke
You only saw about 4 seconds of me cleaning it up lol
You could 3d print a bracket to make that network card less janky. Otherwise great video!
I wish I had the space for a 3D printer. I always have cool idea to make stuff and realise I don't have one :(
Sooooo, why do this instead of moving to an matx build?
I explained it in the video. I like the case and it fits where I need it to fit.
Hey guys are you going to make a review of the new XPG cases? Like the Invader X and Invader X Pro😊
It's possible.
Hmm... I had a the same 850w psu and mine died at random after 3 months of use. Not going cooler master for psu again and it still works
where is the pcpp list?
NR200P V2 REVIEW PLEASE!
The second it arrives I got you covered!
Where can I get that 12vhpwr cable?? It looks so sick!
It's a custom cablemod one ☺️
very cool! 😜
Still no itx case can fit my 4070ti zotac extreme airo 😢
Is this v1 or v2?
Hey family, love you guys. Hi Klaire ❤
😘😘😘😘
Studio is looking sexy. Like you Nic. 😍
that case sucks with the vertical gpu only sadly
Get the NR200P non MAX if you want regular GPU layout
The M.2 in the back you could add another gpu so you have 2 gpu for editing, it works I did it on a sff 450 motherboard works with premier and CapCut
Like the video please
Cool
NR200P V2 😭
You could use an Ethernet connector to USB cable onto the fastest usb it’s faster than Ethernet connectors on the board
That would make a pretty boring video though right :P
@@GearSeekers unless you add 5 4090s on a small form factor lol,, yah right
@@witcnshum HAHAHA!
just dont use itx
Yeah that's not really an option
hi
Ting the OG!
Hey
First…I Hope
You could have just used a T4 to 10Gbe adaptor…
And spend hundreds of unnecessary dollars when I can mod something with stuff I already have.
