The Bicycle in Mandarin is 腳踏車 Taxi is 計程車, it is not 出租車, if you say 出租車 is taxi, then how do you say car rental? sorry I just wonder. 出租 = rent 車=汽車 (car) 計程 = a small machine record the distance travelled 車=汽車(car) just like when you are in China, many of them speak non-standard Mandarin, especially in Guang Dong province, they using Mandarin say 開摩托車, and many mistaken pronunciation (發音不正確). We were surprised that Chinese people talk incorrectly, and in Fu Zhou 福州 they are saying 早安 (zǎo āng), supposedly pronounced as zǎo ān. in Shanghai too has many words which is actually not standard-Mandarin but I believe they use folk language. Confusing sometimes.
If you want to learn traditional Chinese characters you can visit the channel " Mandarin corner Katrina Lee" she teaches by using traditional characters.

many of my friends lost their interest in Chinese because they had a very bad experience during the voyage in chine last year. Everywhere there were thousands of cameras for controlling people, everywhere there were polices, it was out of our imagination. Chinese people should change their government if not, it would become one of the most dangerous-dictatory in this beautiful world. I am very pity for Chinese citizens.

公交车[gōngjiāochē] is more common to use than 公共汽车[gōnggòng qìchē] or 巴士[bāshì] in mainland China.

what is the function of 离 in 离这里 or what does this mean?
It means "from here" - 离这里. 离 - from; 这里 - here. Here is another example for you " 离这里有三天的行程" and "下一个停靠站离这里很远" - the next stop is much further on
