Thanks so much for making this video. I'm going to try myself. I've never done this before but would love the sense of achievement from pulling it off.
THE BIG STEP YOU DID NOT DO WAS CHECK THE RING GAP BY CHECKING THEM IN THE CLY BE FOR FITTING TO PISTON.BAD NEWS FOR YOU IF IT GET HOT AND THAY BUT UP. GEZZZZZZ
Beautiful piston indeed! Can't beat those Raptor 700Rs. Prob best all around sport quad ever built. Thats sayin alot ..cause there are dozens of amazin sport quads built/sold thru decades! Got a '21 Raptor 700R-SE myself. Never sellin her! #Yamaha #Maxima #Fox
What’s up avery body i hava a question i got the same cp piston but Mine doesn’t come with exactly specifications were the gap ring can somebody help me out please and tell the exactly position of every ring thanks in advance
How many hours do you have on the machine I got about 230 and I'm still okay I have an hour meter I'm actually on my second hour meter original engine I did replace the bearings in the back that is all I did other than the maintenance
By "H and I" i think you misread F and T with the marks under them lol. I could be wrong but never saw a flywheel marked like that. Other than my nitpicking great video man!
F(fire) and T(timing) are FAR more common then the H and I markings kids, 15year tech here. this guy made a few more important mistakes then that also.
Did you tell everybody to turn the piston the correct way so the exhaust valves line up with the exhaust cut outs on the piston head and the intakes do the same
Put a zip tie on the timing chain and you can use that as a leader to pull it through the jug wear rubber gloves so I don’t get dirty fingerprints and shit all over the inside of the engine and so you can smooth oil around
The piston would’ve had oil on it and you just wipe that rag across the head of the piston to where the gasket goes on the head so you actually just put oil on the surface where that gasket goes and said make sure you don’t get any oil on it
I appreciate the content.
Great video

Great video Michael as always can't wait for the next one can't wait to see it up an running

Swearing and name-calling at inanimate items is ALWAYS good fun to watch, makes me feel less like a freak when others also do it xD
Nice video bro
Clear explanation, thanks a lot
Great job. Made it look easy💣💥👍
Great video buddy . My mechanic told me my piston was hitting my valves i did a 734 kit on my raptor 2018 any idea on what it is ???
Greetings, a question why didn't you vote for the piston rings? Or do you have the correct measurements?
Finally you post
Been waiting

What did you set the ring gaps at? Mine did not butt up, but rhey were very tight and required filing to set the proper gap.
On an oem size piston?
What compression ratio is your piston?
*but I’m gonna do 9* haha great video🤙
You haven't built anything if you haven't cursed your frustrations 😂😂
I just got done rebuilding my top end on my raptor 700 is there any time of break in process?
Did you hone the cylinder? Or it’s not necessary?
Le cylindre 700 le piston ,le segment peuvent_ t'ils fonctionner sur la moto 660 ?
Is that a new cylinder or did you reuse the stock
I don't think I've seen a more beautiful thumbnail
What is the reliability for the crankshaft and the piston? Is it better than OEM?
What’s up avery body i hava a question i got the same cp piston but Mine doesn’t come with exactly specifications were the gap ring can somebody help me out please and tell the exactly position of every ring thanks in advance
Awesome Mike 《☆》
Also is that the 450 that's been in storage?
The Raptor 700 crank arm has been compressed
And then the sign was different and didn't work
2nd! Love the vids, you never got back regarding the stickers.
Is this the same for a 2001 660 raptor

Safety glasses bro! Those clips could hit you in the eye!
What is the compression of the piston?
By "H and I" i think you misread F and T with the marks under them lol. I could be wrong but never saw a flywheel marked like that. Other than my nitpicking great video man!
The manual says H and I.
Mine says H and I , maybe u got a Europe model
F(fire) and T(timing) are FAR more common then the H and I markings kids, 15year tech here. this guy made a few more important mistakes then that also.
"I" is top dead center
Yeah why don’t you put one of the wrist pin clips in First instead of trying to do it there on the engine
Bro I melted when I seen the tittle I couldn’t believe it
Did you even hone that cylinder?
What about the valve clearance
hi, you know, the cylinder looks like a jewel, it's a shame almost to cover it. 👍
Whos crf is in the backround?
He didn’t even gap the rings
Ya your suppose to gap the rings! He didnt even hone the cylinder aswell! Hiss guy first know wat he is doing
@@shawndurnell2659 Ya he missed that Big Time!!!!!
Chain Video?
Cam chain? I can't remember exactly what's in this video, this is an oldie!
Did you tell everybody to turn the piston the correct way so the exhaust valves line up with the exhaust cut outs on the piston head and the intakes do the same
anonymous he says in the beginning of video
👍
Plz post very soon

Went Well. Should have cleaned up the outside of that case before it was rebuilt. Shiny new parts inside but the outside looks like crap.
Yes that would have made a killer look. I went with vapor blasting on the build after this and it looks like brand new cases 🤘
Stator= stay tor
Hi
BOOK SAYS 9 LBS, IM DO 12 LBS. WHAT THE FUCK DO THAY KNOW AY, YER RIGHT
Those damn clips are the absolute worstttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
