Nice conversion! I like that you had the old bucket converted instead of buying a new bucket like some guys do.

@@HuserHelpersjust wondering how much was a new or even a good used SSQH bucket compared to your modified bucket. The welded bucket did look like well done, and is a great improvement, but just thinking maybe you could have sold the old unmodified bucket, and bought a new SSQH bucket. I've actually did my rear 3pt to SSQH take care👍👍

@tcmits3699 I could (should) have bought a new bucket for same money. At the time, availability was poor for buckets as this was during the height of covid.

@@HuserHelpers l hear ya, just converted my rear 3pt to rear SSQH from eBay, skipped the rear 3pt QH mod, went right to SSQH.

Fabulous job! Glad I could help out my friend. Looks great and I am glad I got the SSQA from the start.

Thanks again Ross. It really made it simple for the welder Paul to do with your reference pictures and measurements. Take Care, J

If you can weld, it will save you a lot of money. Another option is to find a used SSQA bucket. You may be able to sell your existing pin-on bucket and buy a used bucket for less. Keep in mind a SSQA bucket from many brands will work.

Thanks for your kind words Dave. Do far, I have already dug out a large tree stump with it, used the pallet forks to move things around, and put the bucket back on to backfill soil. Have a great week, Jason

Very good Job on the conversion
A friend of mine bought a L3301 with out a loader
He then ordered a loader 3 months later and is still waiting for it
    That was 8 months now
So you are definitely right on getting the quick attach from the get go
My only regret so far is that I did not get the 3rd function at the time I purchased my tractor
    So anyway
Have a great weekend and tell the girls we said hi 👋
    Great video
    Thanks for sharing
    Phil

Thanks Phil. I'm excited about being able to use the stump bucket (hint hint for next video). I agree a third function kit is on my lists of wants with a grapple.

Great conversion and it was really interesting to watch the process. We are planning to do the same for a compact tractor we have but nobody sells a SSQA frame for the tractor so we will need to make one from scratch. Your video helped us a lot, thanks

The weld shop did a good job, it looks like a factory bucket. It's a lot better then others I've seen when they're converting to ssqa. Looking forward to your stump bucket trenching.

Great content Jason. When I welded hooks on my bucket I bought the Tractor Supply orange paint and was completely happy with it. I figured "It's a bucket...it's just gonna get scratched up anyway!" No worries. 👍 😎

When I got my BX2680 last year, I made sure it had the SSQA feature. Its great to have, right now I just have the loader bucket and pallet forks, but I'd like to get a grapple at some point if I can find one small and light enough that the BX would easily handle, so the SSQA definitely is worth the small upcharge in the loader cost for sure. Even if you never take the loader bucket off, if you sell the tractor the SSQA is pretty highly sought after and would help sell the machine if it is equipped with it.
The other 2 things I wish I wouldn't have listened to my dealer on, 3rd function valve and rear remotes. No I don't have any 3rd function or rear remote needs now, but if I get a grapple or a hydraulic top link in the near future, I need them...my dealer told me there's no reason I'd ever need either and told me not to bother getting them....ugg, this is why you need someone that's tractor knowledgeable going with you when you buy your first tractor...it would cost me about $3500-4000 to get them added now, so I'll probably never bother, and alleviates the need to look for a grapple as well.

Hi William. The rear remote kit isn't too expensive from Kubota. Takes about an hour and a half to install with basic tools. You might look into getting this kit. I may also be looking at a grapple in the future, that is why I decided to go the Artillian frame method. That will most likely be a 2023 series of videos. You are so right on getting the SSQA upfront. I bought my tractor with the plan on doing one job for myself then selling it. That was three years ago. Take care, and thanks for checking out the video. J

Your going to love the quick attach very easy to change out implements 👍 unless you don’t latch the bucket in like I did 🤣🤣 the whole world is backed up on parts right now hard to get anything
    have a great one

There are no drawings. I hired a weld shop to fab up it all. I took him my pallet fork frame and he copied the dimensions.

Nice paint job and sucks to hear about your local Kubota dealer. If you want an awesome Kubota dealer go north in IL. to Johnson tractor I buy all my stuff from them farm equipment and Kubota basically the biggest dealer in the state now and they are expanding in Wisconsin to be the largest in Wisconsin for the brand too with 9 locations In Illinois and Wisconsin
