Thanks for sharing. Will be trying to modify this kit for my BX23S in the near future. I’m sure that I will be watching this video several more times. Keep up the good work!!!
Thanks TTD, You might have to do a little modification around the sub-frame. I have heard of folks doing it, so I assume that it can be done. Thanks for watching, and the comment!!. Jason
@@HuserHelpers thanks, I had that assumption when I placed the order. Might have to use flexible lines instead. Will definitely be documenting and videoing it, will share on my channel once it is completed. Thanks again!
@@thetractorden6189 Did you ever install this kit to your BX23S? I'm looking to add it to mine and wondering what parts are needed or if the valve can even mount in the same location.
I have a BX23S and will be performing this install on it soon, already have the kit. Will post videos on my channel when I do. It will probably take a few small modifications but I will figure those out when the time gets closer. Thanks for sharing this video. Very informative!!!
Nice! Glad to see an install video for this kit 🙂. Installed this same kit on my BX1860 earlier this year. Overall not bad, but getting those hoses oriented correctly was a bit of a pain.
Your going to want to get some 90 deg fittings and clock those quick connects down and to the right. Other wise the quick hitch and the A frame will interfere with the hose's sticking straight out. Wish I could up load pics on here to show you.
Great video! I have been meaning to buy this kit and do an install video for 2 years now! Just keep getting side tracked. Very nice video keep it up 👍🏻
@@HuserHelpers sure thing! Jon Ritter sent me here; I remember you posted once but had no clue you had a channel I’m glad I know now I’ll be back for more!
I believe they are poppet. Same ones that the loader uses. I ordered them from Amazon. Here is the link: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BY6SSFW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
That kit doesn't look like Fido's butt either, I've seen some that do. I didn't order rear remotes on my B2601 but I'm beginning to second guess that now.
@@bigmarine4792 I live in IL, and they shipped to me. You'll have to pay shipping, but they were cheaper than buying from my local dealer including the shipping. Thanks for watching.
For those looking to do this, I've been researching it as well. The kit option for the BX80 series (BX2419) has beefier handles, and the rear plate mounts with bolts on both ends instead of using a u-bolt around the ROPS. I have not placed an order for the kit yet, but the parts diagrams show the levers to be significantly stronger. They are 2 parallel bars instead of the single as shown in the video. There are also bushings added to pivot locations. All mechanical parts are identical however. Link to parts page showing the new levers... www.messicks.com/ku/96469?sectionId=273706&diagramId=926271 Scroll down on left hand side of the page, and select the page "rear control valve kit (lever)"
Thanks for the feedback Eric. Good to know Kubota upped their game on the control handles. I got the kit to me for $346 to the door ($330 for the kit $16 for shipping) so if you don't have a great relationship with your local dealer, reference my dealer in the description.
@@HuserHelpers That kit is $1100+ now in 2023. Good luck finding it though, looks as though its not been de-kitted and you have to buy each individual component, so I think that $1100 is probably closer to $2000 now because of it no longer being offered as a kit. Oh well, guess I don't need that rear remote as bad as I thought HAHA!!
@@HuserHelpers Took me 2 months to get the 3rd function kit for my tractor, I don't really have much need for rear remotes as my tractor don't have much hydraulic flow to really do much with the remotes anyhow LOL. I doubt the 3rd function will be of much use either, might be enough flow to open and close the jaws on a grapple, but I have my doubts given how poorly the loader operates under load.

💥 I will be referring to this install video next Spring when I attempt to do this same thing. You did a great job on this! 👍
*Keep on tractoring!*
The hardest part is getting everything tight, and the instructions translation isn't the best. All in it took about 2.5 hours for me.
@@HuserHelpers Also.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Will this work on the 23s, since it has the backhoe?
@@elite_7399 I don't think it will directly. On one of the message boards a member made it work through modifications.

I just bought the 2023 BX23s. I want to do this for my box scraper.
I don't believe you can install rear hydraulic remotes on a backhoe model. You would need to use an aftermarket solution.
Great video. Very clear and easy to understand. Thank you.
Thanks Paul

This was a great install video Jason, it’s going in my Kubota saved list 👍🏻
I use it all the time with the hydraulic top link. Thanks for watching

Yeah, that would be smart for sure. I currently don't use a quick hitch, but could see how that would for sure be an issue.
Awesome video! Jon sent me. you've earned a new subscriber today, Keep them coming.
Thanks! Will do!

Is the hydraulic top link cylinder sold separately?
Yeah, I have another video about sizing the correct one for your application. I bought mine from haytools.com
The 4 quick couplers are what style? Are the male quick couplers on the hose side ball or poppet style?

For sure, thanks for watching
Pricing of the kit? Prices on the web vary wildly.
This was quite a while ago. I would call your local dealership for current pricing.
Closer to the $2,000 price point now because its no longer a "kit" you have to buy each individual component.

Glad you liked it
Does Anyone Have an idea of how much this kit is. Ben searching found some over a thousand bucks is this true.
