It’s great to see you help out your neighbours. It must have been spooky on that busy road! My BX2380 has a Kubota Commercial front blower and a back blade with a Tektite cab. When I get done my moms driveway I like to help out the neighbors too. We got dumped on last week but seem to be missing the big dumps. I’m in the Soo and usually the Big Lake wallops us with lake effect snow but not near the snow this year as last year! I put 47 hours on the BX2380 last year and not anywhere near that this year. It’s not for everyone but I sure love it. MUCH easier to clean that then the soot that was getting on my loader frame and in between my loader stand mechanism.
You can also put an elbow on the end of the stack which I’v been meaning to do so for 1. Water will not get into the stack, and for 2. If it does it will be blown out the side and not straight up where it can land back down on my tractor hood.. so it’s a very simple fix either way but its never bothered me enough to worry.. I may make a video on installing an elbow this winter tho just for the fun of it 👍🏻
Yah it’s for 4x4 and then you can also lock the rear differential to make it a posi in the rear. I use the diff lock quite often when I’m out plowing snow that’s wet heavy and deep and it works extremely well!
Thanks for watching, that’s a great question. To be honest I rarely ever worry about bending my loader arms.. you have to hit something EXTREMELY hard to bend the loader arms of a tractor or mess up pretty bad.. I have hit trees with mine, stumps, roots, boulders.. I have never bent my arms and I absolutly abuse this machine in the summer time.. I have however bent the loader arms of a much larger tractor before but that happened plowing at about 15mph when I caught a manhole with the edge of the plow and I tweaked the loader of an older tractor but that is a very rare i stance.. long as you work smart you shouldn’t ever have to worry. Biggest thing is not putting any side load on the loader only load up, down, in or out. Thanks for watching!
Around here we get thrown into snow pusher jail of we push across a public road. My driveway would be 10x easier to clear if I could push across the road into a vacant lot 👍🏻
Wow that’s crazy, I live more in the country not in a city or high populated area so nobody cares if you push a little snow across the street long as your not overdoing it people do it all the time around here when they need to. Have fun and stay safe out there, thanks for watching!
Just wanted to point out a safety precaution to remind everyone of safe practices. This was copied and pasted from the manual. “17. Never lift or pull a load from any point on the loader (or any attachments) with a chain, rope, or cable. Doing so could cause a rollover or serious damage to the loader.”
Great point Dan.. It isn't advised to pull with the FEL but given the situation I was in and the rush I was in I found it the quicker/easier way.. Sometimes you cant control which end you need to pull from and that's ok as long as you know the risks involved and are smart about how you do it.. We cant always go by the book but its always good to try. Thanks for letting them know.
TIM from Canada These are the videos I like when you are outside doing your work? and you do not have this on high speed.. when you were doing your jobs and you have everything on high speed very confusing
Snow blowers are great Dave. It’s nice not having to make large piles all over your property and being able to throw the snow a good ways away from where your working, unfortunately they are expensive and I didn’t wanna spend that kind of money for the smaller amounts of snowfall we usually get every year.. the pushbox I built myself and did it for dirt cheap which was why I made it instead of something else.. it’s been working great tho all things considering. Nice video! Do you ever worry about bending the loader arms hitting snow fast?
When it Bogs down in high gear, just back off the throttle and the speed will pickup. Think of it as down shifting
This is true 👍🏻
Doing so could cause a rollover or serious damage to the
loader.”
What a nice neighbor, good job. I have a few new videos up of our last storm, check them out if you get a chance Biff.
Thanks Rick! I’ll certainly check them out and leave a comment. Thanks for watching I had a lot of fun making this video 👍🏻
i have the front mount snowblower for my kubota best investment i have made no snow piles at the end of the driveway so people can see
Snow blowers are great Dave. Thanks for watching!
Ya know, at Tractor Supply, for 20 bucks, you can get a new pair of jeans, and with no holes. Just saying.
Spending money on clothing has never been my strong suit lol. Thanks for watching
Nice video but nowhere in the whole video, is the snow even close to 3 feet.
