Thank you so much for doing this. You answered all the questions that I had. Both are great lights. I have two PD36R and I love them. Fenix is doing a great job with their lights.
What I generally hate about (most) flashlights are the pocket clips. They are not safe enough. They don't fit snugly enough. They should be screwed/connected to the housing somehow.
I am always afraid to ruin / scratch the surface when I attach or detach the clips. I like the idea to attach the clip with 2 screws. Normally you decide that you want to use it and keep it attached then.
