    Great interview!
    I can testify to Rebecca’s coaching work. Rebecca helped me reclaim my life from decades of suffering from migraines, back pain, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, insomnia, IBS, eye issues, vertigo and extreme burning in my legs. She coached me for about 8 months and now I’m recovered!!
    If you are unsure of TMS, mind body work and this approach I encourage you to research it because it really does work and has the science behind it.
    Rebecca’s course is a great way to start your healing journey and if you are uncertain about it all I’m happy to have a chat and share my experience with you.
    Thank you Jim and Rebecca for what you do, I’m sure I can say from many of us we are forever grateful for you both.
    PS I really like the story about the guy running 9 days with pain. Sounds like some kind of Greek God!!

    A great interview! I’m so excited for Rebecca’s upcoming course. Can’t wait to start. Thank you Jim for all your helpful content. I find your videos have “teeth”. Specific, clear information and techniques that are revelatory that take a person from feeling helpless or stuck to being proactive in their innate abilities to move forward.

      I know the financial piece is so hard when you have chronic symptoms Nadine! I'm sorry to hear you cannot work. I was on disability for many years so I get it. Although I must support myself financially through my work, I'm not sure I'll make any money on the course due to the number of hours, staff and expenses I've put into it. It truly is a labor of love. I'm offering it for the lowest price I can, but understand it's out of reach for some which is why I offer a scholarship application on the web page. Wishing you the best with your recovery.

She went onto train as a mind-body coach and now she's assisting in the course! Glad you found the link and I'd love to have you in the course!

      Hi Katie! Yes, live classes are once a week for 8 weeks. People can join live or watch the recordings afterwards. Also, there's lots of meditations and exercises on our website in between sessions. And students have access to the learning site for a total of 8 months!

  • @cmadge7474

    Hi. Rebecca, I was just wondering what will the group size be about and will there be much time/ability to interact with other group members in an organised way, other than just through Facebook ie will there be time in each weekly session for interaction/feedback with one another or will it just be you teaching/imparting knowledge? Thanks, Clare

    • @rebeccatolinmind-bodycoach
      @rebeccatolinmind-bodycoach 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Clare, Great questions! The live classes are mostly comprised of me leading guided meditations and practices, teaching the knowledge and answering questions. For students who want more interaction with me, my team members, and each other we have a private website and Community. It's not Facebook! Students can post questions and comments there anytime. I've hired a wonderful community facilitator who I met in another course to help build a supportive space. I don't know what the group size will be! It depends how many sign up and attend live classes. In my last course, a number of people were in different time zones so they watched the recordings. We also house a lot of content on the private website, which participants can access for 8 months and download anytime. Does this help?

      @@rebeccatolinmind-bodycoach
      Hi Rebecca, yes that’s really helpful. Thanks for your detailed reply.
      I’ve already been working on this approach for about six months and am making gradual but steady progress. I have a coach here and have done quite a lot of education stuff. but what I’m really missing is feeling part of some sort of community and working with/seeing/communicating with other people on it ie being part of a smallish group to offer/receive support. It’s a bit of a lonely process as there’s not very much going on here in the UK! (Apart from sirpa but no community element).
      Also struggling a bit with the inability to actually feel my emotions and I’m attracted to your somatic practices because I already find Jim’s stuff and Suki Baxter’s somatic experiencing really helpful. I think it gets to the primal brain in ways that other methods can’t reach!
      Plus while I’m seeing some improvement in migraines I am still working on fatigue, disturbed sleep and sickness vomiting gastroparesis et cetera i.e. non-pain TMS symptoms so I think the course could be really helpful for that too.
      The main thing that’s holding me back is that I’m based in the UK so the meetings will be in the evening for me 6 to 8pm which is not a good time of day for me! I’m an early bird and I get up very early so by then I’ve run out of steam. Plus if I do things in the evening it hypes up my nervous system and then I can’t sleep etc etc (and to watch at another time rather defeats the object for me as it’s the group element I’m really interested in!)
      Anyway I’ll mull a little further and make a decision soon!!!! (Talk about typical TMS personality!) 😂😂

    • @rebeccatolinmind-bodycoach
      @rebeccatolinmind-bodycoach 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@cmadge7474 I so get the TMS personality! It sounds like you're doing such great work already. I understand wanting more community connection. One of my course assistants is a former client who healed from Long Covid. She's based in England and is also wanting to connect with others there!
      I understand wanting to wind down early due to the fatigue/sleep cycle. But, iff you enjoy on-line communications, there will be plenty of opportunity for that in our forum!
      I also include a free from fatigue guidebook and two extensive sleep handouts.
      If you feel drawn to the course, we'd love to have you! Either way, wishing you wellbeing and connection in all the ways that nourish you.

    Thank you very much for this interview, really insightfull! It actually explains why pushing synthoms through and resuming activity does not work with fatigue... My question would be, when we are stuck in the freeze response for a long time, i requires a while until the nervous system feels safe again. Is that right? I mean, can it take weeks or even months of implementing those things like gentle movement,somatic tracking,walking in the nature, even protecting yourself from stresfull relationships...for building up that safety feeling that will then stay? And is there an explanation that why fatigue is at its worst in the morning after sleeping? Another question would be, dorsal vagal state sometimes switches to sympathetic response (when the synthoms are anxiety, palpitations,tremors...) What would explain that? Is the system going in between those two states? Does it need to go to sympatethtic before going to parasympathetic? Many many thanks, your work is of great value guys 🙏

    3:40 no, the symptoms aren't 'repressed emotions'. It's a post viral damage of the brain signaling. Which apparently can be healed with mind body techniques, but calling the symptoms repressed emotions doesn't make me take this lady seriously.
