I just watched all of your reactions to Angelina and they were not only great but they were right on!!!! When she does covers she always pays homage to the original but also adds something of herself to. What I admire about her so much was another thing that you touched on and that is when she sings a song she can actually change her voice to suit that song....and you are right again! The thing is that she, I believe, experiments with all different types of music/genres to learn how to do as many things with her singing as possible. She has built quite a war chest of techniques to use when she sings. That is why I think that she is and/or will be the most versatile singer. Her version of "Stay" is beautiful, her "gospel style" "Somethings got a hold on me" is fun and suits her so well. Queen"s "The Show Must Go On" is especially beautiful. Another song "I am still holding out for you" is a song that she recorded just shy of her 11th birthday and her family didn't like the lyrics so they refused to let it be published. The recording leaked anyway and it is said to be one of her very very best. Angelina is writing songs too. The "Million Miles" is something that she wrote, "Shield" is another one that she wrote, "Oslo" is another (it is about her home) and :7th Heaven" just came out. When you hear these songs you will notice that these songs are about family...uplifting,...love...hope, She, so far has a definite message.

As a long time AJ fanatic, I had grown accustomed to seeing her face on youtube practically every day for almost 7 years. Then, she took a bit of a hiatus during 2020. This studio version was the first time I'd seen her in months, and it was shocking how much she'd grown, had mature and tall she had become. And then she started singing.....this statuesque beauty with the world's best voice singing words she wrote herself, I mean, what more can you want.
Awww i could see song got ya good! Here's the thing with this girl. She gets deep into your heart and soul when she sings!! And i like best to watch her and you really feel the emotions since it is apparent how much she feels each song. I for real cannot take my eyes off of her. This song was written by her for her grandpa that passed. This was her 1st release with republic records. In an interview she said she couldn't stop the tears from flowing. And we can see that pure emotion and feel her sadness over that loss in the studio version. So touching beyond words. Also alot of emotion it being her 1st release with her record label andnthe fact that this song is so dear to her heart. She seems to have a deep connection with the moon and the stars and the heavens. She is pure beauty inside and out. TWO versions, three videos... First art audio version is VERY much worth seeing/listening as itis the mixed mastered studio release. Same story with 7th Heaven song......... must hear both.
The emotions that she brings out do not subside over time. The first listen of a song may shock or surprise or move you in many ways, but the next time you hear it, you know what is coming as soon as the first sound comes out of her mouth and it hits you even harder. I get chills when I see a new reactor pop up because I know what they are going to experience.

The cello swells to start with, and before the 2nd chorus, it has this waterfall of notes cascading down, and then swirling back up. This is what cellos do.
I would also recommend the official lyric video. Her grandmother did the artwork and it is very special. It also helps one to understand the emotions she gives us through this song.

But some people seem to be convinced that she passed that ages ago and is going for shooting guard status now and getting closer every month for all that they talk about it. I don't think she needs whispered rumors of any kind and don't believe repeating them publicly without concrete knowledge is beneficial in any way, but I might be the exception. TWO versions, three videos... First art audio version is VERY much worth seeing/listening as itis the mixed mastered studio release. Same story with 7th Heaven song......... must hear both.
The emotions that she brings out do not subside over time. The first listen of a song may shock or surprise or move you in many ways, but the next time you hear it, you know what is coming as soon as the first sound comes out of her mouth and it hits you even harder. I get chills when I see a new reactor pop up because I know what they are going to experience.
This song is an homage to the passing of her Grandfather. It really pulls at your heart.

But some people seem to be convinced that she passed that ages ago and is going for shooting guard status now and getting closer every month for all that they talk about it.
I don't think she needs whispered rumors of any kind and don't believe repeating them publicly without concrete knowledge is beneficial in any way, but I might be the exception.
