The fact that she actually already being performed on big concerts even though they invited this young girl to performed in private places. People don't even realize that she is only accompanied by a soft piano. In the first one, just a guitar and piano. She is equally astounding with a full orchestra, or a jazz band.
Simon is the head of ALL of The Got Talent shows around the world and therefore was fully aware of Angelina while she was performing on Norway's Got Talent. No doubt in my mind, Simon along with the other judges had listened to many hours of Angelina singing prior to her appearance on AGTTC. I also believe the vast majority of the music industry knows of Angelina and realize her incredible talent. Republic Records is taking their time promoting her probably since she is still only 15 and also since she is so different than other artists in so many ways, most notably her choice to stay off social media (for the most part) since she says it takes away from her creativity. Republic needs to develop a unique strategy for a once in forever artist.
99% of the time winners or first place it's forgotten. At this point she doesn't have to prove anything, she already work over a decade. She is one in the world.

At first I felt like she was robbed by not winning AGT, but it turned out great for her with the Republic record contract. They’re promoting her her as their top artist for this year and she deserves every bit of her success after working so hard to develop her innate talent. There’s a story behind your comment about Simon. Angelina’s management (her uncle) wouldn’t let Angelina go on AGT if she had to sign a contract and there was a stand off for a couple of years. When she went on she didn’t have sign to Syco, and later signed to Republic. Her family wanted to sign where she would get artistic freedom. I expect they weren’t expecting her to be so F’ing Good.

AGT tried to get her on their show since she won NGT in 2014.Her manager/uncle Michael convinced her that the contract would stifle her creativity and development as an artist,so they held out for a nonbinding aggreement which she eventually got.It also meant that she wouldn't win the show probably.
If you win, the contract is that you sign with Simon (in one of his various production agencies). my understanding was that the family chose not to sign, which is why she didn't sing in the finals.
@@berniescott4014 I'm not sure what they call the last " finals" Bernie .. where there's usually only five contestants .. sometimes 6 ... but it's after the" finals" where she sang Yellow Brick Road. They did ask her to sing the song with the Russian sand painter and the young violinist .. but she was no longer part of the contestants the people were voting on at the end .. the point I was really making was that the family chose not to sign the contract, which I thought was very protective and a correct choice for Angelina.

According to her manager/uncle, Michael Astar, Simon had been trying to get her on the show for 2 years prior, but they refused because of the standard AGT contract. Simon had to offer her a special contract that relinquished any control over her before she would sing. He needed her for the ratings & she needed a giant platform to display her vocal artistry. A lot of play acting goes on in these shows.

Many contestants on AGT try to outdo one another by singing louder than anyone else, but it's funny that Angelina has the guts to do the opposite. She won over the audience by singing quietly, softly and calmly. Sometimes less is more.

I'm not a fan of vocal runs but hers are as delicate as the lace your grandma use to make. And that last note is enough to melt your heart. Her AGT performances are now iconic.
1st off...of course i liked it haha who wouldn't. I jad goosebumps throughout the whole thing and cried like a baby. .as i often do when i listen to her. She just pulls you in to a beautiful place where all u hear is her enchanting soothing voice. I cant describe it fully but just feel it deep to my core and in my heart. She puts such emotion and beauty into all her songs. Any song. I feel it in my soul and my heart. And my ears woukd smile if they could!!! she's been "working" .. intensively, since she was two years old. And if you keep following, you will see, without a doubt, that she never stops "working" to strengthen and develop her instrument. Working in quotations is because i believe what drives her is pure passion and music itself. (and her grandmother!🥰 thank you, Mery!) Please, some day, go back to Norway's Got Talent, when she was 7 years old singing Gloomy Sunday (Billie Holiday) and other classics .. all worth watching. But also two BRILLUANT covers are Screaming Jay Hawkins' I PUT A SPELL ON YOU in black and white with a fabulous jazz band. She is nine. One of the videos from her Bohemian Rhapsody performance shows the whole judging panel on stage after her golden buzzer has Simon saying to Angelina, "I don't think you know how good you are," Personally, I think Angelina knew, but her humility threw Simon off. So yes, i think Simon knew by the time she did this one. Nice reaction.
AGT and Simon were not unsure. They knew exactly who she was. They negotiated for two years to get her to sing. They basically gave her a contract with no provisions. She actually copyrighted her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody.

Thanks for another wonderful reaction with Angelina, Cliff. I love this her version of this song, so soft, melancholy and slowed down and with those great vocal games she really changed this old Elton John song into a much more emotional song. From the first time I listened to her, with the lights centralizing her, the just hinted musical carpet (so different from the original song) and her yellow dress perfectly in the character of her interpretation, it completely captivated me. Every time I hear it, the emotion comes over me again ❤️ ❤️ She has the great ability to read songs, in an incredible way and doesn't need colorful or redundant performances, just a simple piano or guitar accompaniment is enough to do the magic.
Listen to her sing Sing Me To Sleep and or Faded, from the Alan Walker Coming Home concert(with orchestra) when she was 10 years old. Hauntingly beautiful!
Simon has known of her since she won Norways Got Talent. Her family would not let her go on any other shows because they wanted her to have as " regular" of a childhood as possible. Simon also knew by her agreeing to be on this show he had no rights to her contractually. That was also why she couldn't win it, it was part of their contract. No one has ever pushed back with not signing with Simon's recording company.
Cliff, I think when Simon said "I love this song" he meant the original. He is from England, like Elton John, so probably he heard it many times. I'm sure he was expecting something special from Angelina. I think Simon didn't do his homework with Angelina's audition. Probably never heard her before.

Someone else mentioned that Simon and his bosses knew she wasn't going to sign any contract with them, so that ended any chance of her winning, "OR" those so called "Super Fans" were a bunch of little kids with cell phones that didn't know squat about musical talent, and were captivated by people jumping around on stage. Those are the ONLY explanations for Angelina not finishing in the top 5. Tell me what ANY of the acts that finished above her are doing right now.

It wasn't Simon's first introduction to her during her first song. He's been trying to get her on this show since she won Norwegians Got Talent. But her family shielded her and made sure she got more schooling and a sort of normal childhood. He knew from the time she decided to go on the show that he had no chance of winning because that was part of the contract. He also knew he was not going to be able to sign her to his record label for this reason.

According to her manager/uncle, Michael Astar, Simon had been trying to get her on the show for 2 years prior, but they refused because of the standard AGT contract. Simon had to offer her a special contract that relinquished any control over her before she would sing. He needed her for the ratings & she needed a giant platform to display her vocal artistry. A lot of play acting goes on in these shows.

You noticed all the cell phone lights in the audience, did you also notice that you could hear a pin drop in an arena filled with 1000's of people....she is hypnotic.
They were actually not cell phones. The audience had been provided with "candles." They would not have encouraged folks to record the performances.

Many contestants on AGT try to outdo one another by singing louder than anyone else, but it's funny that Angelina has the guts to do the opposite. She won over the audience by singing quietly, softly and calmly. Sometimes less is more.

I'm not a fan of vocal runs but hers are as delicate as the lace your grandma use to make. And that last note is enough to melt your heart. Her AGT performances are now iconic.
1st off...of course i liked it haha who wouldn't. I jad goosebumps throughout the whole thing and cried like a baby. .as i often do when i listen to her.
She just pulls you in to a beautiful place where all u hear is her enchanting soothing voice. I cant describe it fully but just feel it deep to my core and in my heart. She puts such emotion and beauty into all her songs. Any song. I feel it in my soul and my heart. And my ears woukd smile if they could!!! She has a special gift to share with the world and we are truly blessed. I do feel she was heaven sent.💗 To somehow heal our hearts and our souls and bring us some much needed joy. She will touch many manh lives with her soothing angelic voice and kind and humble heart. I am a huge fan and cant wait firnthe world to discover this gem!! she's been "working" .. intensively, since she was two years old. And if you keep following, you will see, without a doubt, that she never stops "working" to strengthen and develop her instrument. One of the videos from her Bohemian Rhapsody performance shows the whole judging panel on stage after her golden buzzer has Simon saying to Angelina, "I don't think you know how good you are," Personally, I think Angelina knew, but her humility threw Simon off. So yes, i think Simon knew by the time she did this one.

AGT and Simon were not unsure. They knew exactly who she was. They negotiated for two years to get her to sing. They basically gave her a contract with no provisions. She actually copyrighted her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody.

Thanks for another wonderful reaction with Angelina, Cliff. I love this her version of this song, so soft, melancholy and slowed down and with those great vocal games she really changed this old Elton John song into a much more emotional song. From the first time I listened to her, with the lights centralizing her, the just hinted musical carpet (so different from the original song) and her yellow dress perfectly in the character of her interpretation, it completely captivated me. Every time I hear it, the emotion comes over me again ❤️ ❤️
She has the great ability to read songs, in an incredible way and doesn't need colorful or redundant performances, just a simple piano or guitar accompaniment is enough to do the magic.
Listen to her sing Sing Me To Sleep and or Faded, from the Alan Walker Coming Home concert(with orchestra) when she was 10 years old. Hauntingly beautiful!

Simon has known of her since she won Norways Got Talent. Her family would not let her go on any other shows because they wanted her to have as " regular" of a childhood as possible. Simon also knew by her agreeing to be on this show he had no rights to her contractually. That was also why she couldn't win it, it was part of their contract. No one has ever pushed back with not signing with Simon's recording company.
Cliff, I think when Simon said "I love this song" he meant the original. He is from England, like Elton John, so probably he heard it many times. I'm sure he was expecting something special from Angelina. I think Simon didn't do his homework with Angelina's audition. Probably never heard her before.
I totally agree with u about Simon...he was pissed bc hee parents did not want to sign with him and now she has her own label and all the control as she should....she could sing the phone book!!!! I hate when the song is over I could listen to her forever! Great job Cliff♡
Someone else mentioned that Simon and his bosses knew she wasn't going to sign any contract with them, so that ended any chance of her winning, "OR" those so called "Super Fans" were a bunch of little kids with cell phones that didn't know squat about musical talent, and were captivated by people jumping around on stage. Those are the ONLY explanations for Angelina not finishing in the top 5. Tell me what ANY of the acts that finished above her are doing right now.
I have to say that aside from your appreciation of Angelina and her music, I am impressed with your message on almost every video. The fact that you reach out to those who need to talk to somebody is admirable and we need more people like this in the world. It wasn't Simon's first introduction to her during her first song. He's been trying to get her on this show since she won Norwegians Got Talent. But her family shielded her and made sure she got more schooling and a sort of normal childhood. He also knew he was not going to be able to sign her to his record label for this reason.

I hope you would react to Angie singing at Alan Walker's homecoming its a big consert with philharmonic orchestra wery nice arrangement the video lasts ca 9 minuts and Angie sings 2 songs: put me to sleep, and faded she is only ten year then.
