I'm so sorry for you loss. There are no words to describe this. Angelina is pure and raw emotion with whatever she sings. I have 2 grandkids 1/2 way across the country who I haven't seen in person since the beginning of this pandemic. Whenever we talk they say they miss me. I want to be in their lives again.
I've listened to this song 100 times and I cried each time thinking of my parents who passed. It's amazing how Angelina can affect so many people with her voice and songs. This young woman has captured my heart. From when she was Seven, and won "Norway's got Talent", which i liked to watch, on occasion, she's had my interest. My favorite song, by her, of everything I've heard, that she has sung, would have to be "Autumn Leaves" which already had a special place in my life, and she just carried it into my soul. I follow her on Facebook, but she has literally millions of fans, all of whom adore her, and so I can only say, "I'm just one more."

What makes this very personal she’s performing a song in her home in Norway for her and her father was together and grandmother a lot her grandfather was Japanese so she went to Japan I need a tribute to him in Japan sing the last song in Japanese in honor of her grandfather!

This young lady makes this old guys eyes water with nearly every song she sings. She reaches deep in your soul and pulls all the emotions out, and that is one of the reasons I lover to listen to her. Other people may be great singers, but they don't make you "FEEL" the way Angelina does. Happy Birthday to Angelina from all her 'Angels'.

And thanks to Angelina for letting us have old clips where you try all the time, and even play a chord wrong on the piano or guitar when you're practicing, and you choose to post it. My grandfather passed away on Christmas Eve last month. When I fist listen to "Million Miles", I thought of all those memorable years spent with my granddad as a child. What is dead may never die. They not only live in Heaven nowadays but also live inside our hearts forever.
My wife says that I've changed for the better, with more smiles and kindness. It's because I start every day with Angelina (with a tissue near for inevitable tears as my heart is touched). I'm so fortunate of having made it to 80 years to hear this angel, a gift to a world too often filled with hate and violence. She is love incarnate and hopefully fills my remaining years with the joy of heavenly music.

Well I lost my dad, all my grandmothers and grandfathers a long time ago....But I recently lost my mom...right before all this covid nonsense hit...So glad she barely skipped all that, and I'm thankful she left before she had to go through that nightmare...

@@minumero4094I’m glad your mom timed her passing as she did. Mine passed Aug 11, 2011 enough before Irene hit us in Vermont so hard. I miss her but was grateful it worked out in the timing because that would have been over the top for my full time caretaking of her on top of mothering my young children.

This is music my friend. Music heals. Angelina is amazing .My mom died when I was 26 she was 46 Wild horses by Michael Martin Murphy was or song tears my heart out. Every time I hear Angelina I cry. My grandpa was my dad and also I looked up to Dale Earnhardt as my i wish dad. We all have to have a person we can trust and respect. Angelina at a young age gave her everything to everyone. Her and her family deserve the most respect above respect
I am a new grandpa, and the unconditional love a baby gives is overwhelming. We bonded from day one, and he is almost 10 months old. He is a blessing from God sent to us, and my wife and I are thrilled to enjoy him and see him grow up. So sorry for your loss.

This song and your reaction is what I needed today. My birthday is today and all day I have been thinking about him more. I just watched your reactions to Angelina’s songs. You said two things that I’ve said many times in my comments about her. First, it doesn’t matter if Angelina is in a small room, like here, or before thousands in an audience-she’s singing to you. From the opening notes, she connects right away, and you’re hooked for the full ride. She’s the best interpreter of lyrics I’ve ever heard. Secondly, on many of her songs, even though I’ve watched them so many times, I react physically to her performances. She can literally send the shivers down my spine. If you hadn’t guessed, she is my all-time favorite singer, and I’m in my seventies. No one is remotely close.
My suggestion for your next Angelina reaction is to watch her cover of an Adele song. Angelina makes you forget the original versions. Try “A Million Years Ago” or “Someone Like You”. Actually if you listen to one, you’ll definitely want to watch the other. It’s Angelina with her magical voice living the lyrics and making you feel the moments in your own life when those lyrics applied exactly to you. She is so amazingly authentic, genuine, and open.
There are several videos of this song. One is a lyric animated one (my favorite), and another has her little sister playing the part of her as a child. I think you would enjoy all of them-they are all so different from one another. Bless you!

My goodness, watching you hold on with everything you have is making me cry! I've never connected with a reactor's reaction like this!! I was taken in by a family after my family fell apart. They let me sleep in their basement when I was a teen. "Dad" encouraged me to join the service. I eventually joined the Air Force. Later in my career as he was dying from ALS. When I finally got promoted to Chief Master Sergeant, I was able to visit him in a VA hospital and give him one of my Chief stripes. I told him that pull-out couch in the basement was the most comfortable bed I ever slept on because it was in a home filled with love. I believe I have my very own Marine Angel in heaven looking after me. His name is Richard Lissy :)
