Those four screws shown at 1:20 are very hard to prevent dropping out of your socket and disappearing in the void below. Stuff a rag in the space under the screws so if /when they drop down the rag catches them and you can get them back.
Wow! Just bought a 2007 Saturn Vue that needs a new stereo! Can’t believe I stumbled across this video. Now I know EXACTLY what to do and what to buy! Thank you soooo much for this!!!
Luckily found this video with the same stereo as the one I order. Thanks for putting the part numbers! Definitely helped me find a double din kit that fits the same stereo. First one I was centimeters too small lengthwise.
you covered this, but I want to emphasize one point where *before I saw your video) I broke a piece. When removing the top cover - the one that runs from the a/c to the dashboard - at the dashboard, the far end nearest the windshield - pull BACK toward you, NOT up. I pulled up and broke the front corner of the cover piece. Thanks again for your great video.
@@frankysolis5507 that's a very broad question. Are you talking about connecting the harness? Depending on your deck kit you may need a harness adapter for your car. What do you mean by what interface?
I've got all this white stuff down by my driving foot inside the middle dash under where the radio is. It's crumbling now after so many years but I'm not sure what it is. Salt build up? From my boots during the winter? Idk because it seemed pretty formed and like it's falling apart. What do you think it is. Is it toxic? I tried vacuuming it al up but its a lot.
I have a 2006 vue and I don’t necessarily need to install a harness but instead can just install it directly to the car right? I’m gonna keep the car forever and won’t need to change or swap the radio in the future
Yes, no problem at all! Adapters are good if you get a new owner, it saves them trouble. and its also good if you mess it up, that way, you just buy a new adapter
I usually make videos when I get a new tool or I have a problem. Anything else, you can use our donate link and ill make a video from a donation, no problem.
It's not too much different. To be honest, looking at the interior of your Saturn Vue, just follow the video along, I think it'll be pretty obvious from there
I DID THE INSTALL TODAY JUST LIKE YOU SAID I HAD ALL THE PARTS AND WIRED IT CORRECT AND GOT NO SOUND. THEN I RAN THE AMP WIRE TO BLUE AUTO ANTENNA WIRE IN CASE IT HAS A FACTORY AMP! STILL NO SOUND WHAT GIVES
THat's interesting you mention that because at the start of this very video I said you can view my others video on how to join the wires together. THere is a little sense in making 2 videos of the same thing. I wouold like to remind you that TH-cam is a totally free service where I make content in my own free time for others to enjoy, again, for free

Or use a handy dandy retractable magnet!

This tutorial is so much better than the other old guy who stays in front of the camera for most of the video lol 😂 Thanks!
Scotty Kilmer! haha! Terrible videos, but a total genius for making profit from ads!
I'm glad the video was useful! :)
Thanks so much! Havent had my dvd player for a year...now it's on the hunny do list. 🤣

If you have the chance to do it again, then consider yourself an expert! 😆💯🔥
Just did this on my 2006 Saturn vue, was easy to follow along, thanks!
You're welcome! :)
I got a 06 Saturn vue also,
Would you mind helping me out, idk what interface to use or if there’s an easier way anything we’ll help. Thanks!

Put it into a food blender, turn it into a fine powder, then you might be able to make some profit from it down a dark alley at night time
Great video thanks for the video
Happen to know the name of the stereo? The amazon link in description no longer works
I've updated the description! :)
Do you have a video on how to replace the antenna?

Do you have a link for the stereo and kit?
Yes, all in the video description! :)
How you remove the abtena from the old stereo
What wiring did you use instead of the interface for the steering wheel
What antenna adapter would you recommend for a 2004 Saturn vue
does there stereo work well like no problems or issues with that specific one?
It's surprisingly great! It's still being used today
I'm getting a 2005 model, I havnt seen it in person yet and its from family and somewhat complicated to find things out, would this work on my model?
2004-2007 should be the same :)
What did you connect the accessory wire to?
See my other video on mustang stereo for wiring help. This is an install video.
did you figure it out where the red accessory wire goes?
does the stereo you installed have any issues or does it work fine?
It works great to be honest! I didn't have high hopes, but it's lasted since I uploaded this video. It's still being used today
What is the new system that you put into your car? Could you send a link please?
amzn.to/33Rk68c Thanks!
@@TutorialGenius thank you! Damn under $50???! How well does it work for you so far?
@@JayMan52 Works great! :)
I looked at the party on amazon but apparently it says that 2 of the parts don't fit for my 2004 Saturn VUE:(
@@JayMan52 You buy the harness for YOUR car. The stereo fits ANY car.
Can you make a video of how to replace a Flasher Relay. Thank you

Is this the same for the 2008 Saturn vue
It's not too much different.

What gives? Probably faulty stereo! lol
Okay we'll check it out thanks
Did you fix
The ac plug are like impossible to remove
Bro now I can’t get the fucking harness out. This shit is mad annoying
Perhaps take it to a professional if you're stuck at step 1!
You don't explain how to replace and join wire by wire of the same color, you skip many important steps just to make the video shorter.

Where is the video ???
Where can I buy one . The name of the place.
Thx
Any time!

Your whole video is pretty useless when you don't show how to hook up the wiring.
I have a separate video hooking up the wiring, you watched part 1 lol
But for being rude, you get no linky link 😆
Will this work on a 2009 vue
