NOLA Crawfish Pies
Ingredients
1 stick of salted butter
1 chopped bell pepper
1 chopped onion
1 can of mushrooms
1 can of evaporated milk
1 tbsp. of cornstarch
2 tbsp. of water
2 stalks of chopped celery
1 bundle of green onion
Slap Ya Mama seasoning to taste
2lbs. of Crawfish tails
Pie shells
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Begin by melting the butter and sautéing the bell peppers
and onion for five minutes in a pot. Add the mushrooms and cook them for five minutes. Pour
in the evaporated milk and stir. In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch and water, then pour it into
the pot, stirring to combine. Add celery and green onions. Season the mix with Slap Ya Mama to
taste and stir. Add crawfish and stir properly. Place the mixture into a pie shell and bake for 20-
30 minutes.

Nuthin like that Nola cooking baby! Looks good making a whole seafood pie only thing I would’ve missed is the cornstarch and I’ll be adding shrimp n crab to crawfish and you know we use Tonys out chea!
