Tom - like the banter in this - Mark and you a good pairing - should do more of these types of shoots. I would be so nervous about driving these cars around London. Love the more recent RS version - seen a couple on the road recently and they look (and sound) great. Thanks for sharing the fun !

Of course it's also much more rare....
I think i choose the 911 rs, beacose it have got manual gear box, but i love to drive the gt to. :D
Differences appear quite subtle.. I would stick with the gt3 rs
Jack Paul the 4.0 is an older car,can tell by the rear lights especially. Imo the RS rear lights are way nucer
Is it worth it? Probably not... But the 4.0 is my favorite car and I hope that one day I'll be able to afford one. I hope that they will drop in value, but realistically that won't happen... But the good thing is that there a a lot of different versions of all kinds of GT3s and that not all of them cost crazy money at the moment:D

I have to disagree, your GT3RS is better looking than 4.0 imo - never been a fan of those decals down the side and it's starting to look dated or last generation which to be fair is what it is.
Can I ask you a question, a genuine one and I'm really not being facetious but is everybody you are friends really wealthy? It just seems to be such a big group of young wealthy people and I wondered if you knew people who were outside of that demographic?
A 992 turbo S is faster and more importantly safer and you could buy 2 spanking new ones for same price as an old gt3 rs ,go figure !

997 gt3 RS 4.0 is the last version of the mezger engine and has a manual gearbox with hydraulic direction ... in fact there is more difference between these two cars(997-991) than between a 993 RS and a 997 gt3 ... 991 is a great car but it's missing a "soul" , it's like a computer .... once a better computer comes out the old one has no value . 997 is the opposite and even a gt3 RS 3.8 will cost 500 000 at some point in the future ! Of course perception can change and the 991 could be perceived as a mechanical driving experience when all cars will be electric ?? That would add to it's value.

991 GT3RS is huge, the 991 was already bigger than the 997, putting the turbo body on it just makes it too big IMO. Watching the Le Mans 24h and now this I realized that the 991 GT3RS and now GT2RS are way too big, it looks retarded on the streets. It's the size of a mid size SUV, I miss the small 911s, the 997 looks way better.
