    In this video I go over how you can set up the MVN Live Link plugin from Xsens into Unreal Engine and retarget that data onto the Metahumans.
    I also show how you can adjust the Tpose and Remap asset in order to fine tune your data.

    I've been focused on learning Blender and Iclone but you do inspire me to keep Unreal Engine as a future option. Your videos are really put together well and are informative -Thank you for your time and effort!

      Hi! Thank you so much! Actually Blender is a great tool to know. It will make creating in Unreal even more beneficial for you. I wish I had more time to spend in Blender. Keep doing what you are doing. It will be much easier for you to pick up Unreal with your 3d skills;)

    This is one of the hardest elements to find consistent and clear detail on, great video!! Would love to see one on the Manus glvoes and getting them mapped into Xsens MVN perfectly (so touching fingertips captures perfectly).

    Great video and really easy to understand and follow! Out of interest have you found a way to match the skeletons scale so that things like push ups and hand interactions look good. Atm there is a difference in scale between the xSense input skeleton and the MH skeleton that makes the animation look off for me.

    Hi Gabby real quick question; I recorded my takes but noticed my T-Pose was off. I made the corrections, but my animations aren't updating with the new pose. Any way to get my recorded animations to conform to the updated Metahuman T-Pose?

    hello i have the xsens suite but i don't have the mvn live plugin , i can only save my motion into a mvn file , i only have the mvn record , is it possible to put a mvn file into unreal engine and put it into a selfmade charachter (made with cc4) so i can bring my motion into it ???

    hello i have a question , i would like to use my xsens suite with the reallusion program with special plugin , do i need to downlaod mvn analyze and mvn animate in my situation ?

      You should already have MVN Animate and you will need MVN Plus or Pro for live link capabilities. I do not believe MVN Analyze is necessary for this.

      @@FeedingWolves when i click on mvn app i get MVN Record and cannot login into motion cloud because have no subscription . The salesman of my xsens suite told me he could make a quotation for a year license . Can i only get the animate plus subscription through my sales men ? or can i get it online ? I already filled in a form online for a subscription but i don't get anything in my e-mail

    Hello,
    I am currently utilizing an MVN Link suit, equipped with the Animate Pro software. I've successfully integrated it with Unreal Engine and achieved a successful linkage to control the mannequin through Live Link. However, I am encountering some difficulties when attempting to link the Metahuman.
    Despite several attempts following your instructional materials, along with Movella's tutorials - which includes additional steps for linking the Metahuman, I'm yet to accomplish a successful linkage. This perplexes me, especially considering the previous successful interaction with the mannequin.
    Given that I am utilizing Unreal Engine version 5.1.1, I am curious if there may be specific considerations or steps I might have missed, or if there are any known compatibility issues.
    Any guidance or insight that can be offered would be greatly appreciated. Love your work!

      Try changing the Metahuman LOD to 1.

      @@SIARSEDIG I would check the step at 7:30 where you assing the Metahuman Remap asset. You will need a separate Remap for the Metahuman. You might also want to look at this video at 4:41 th-cam.com/video/BXMyE7OIyhk/w-d-xo.html

    Do I need MVN ANimate Plus or Pro, to use the Xsense MVN Live Link or is MVN Record enough?

      In order to stream live data, you will need either the Plus or Pro version.

      Whats the point of MVN Record, if you cant do anything with it? Not even safe in FBX. Why there is not a cheaper version. Not everyone needs an intensive cloud with all that functions.@@FeedingWolves
