Can we just appreciate how this car will outperform almost every in every regime. Some new hypercars are amazing but cost literally millions. This thing is probably $300k-800k and does 200mph, corners very well, looks amazing and is the interior of a legit racecar
I love this car because it reminds me of my childhood playing games etc., but it doesn't outperform any of the new supercars.
Ferrari 296 which is "only" about 250/300k and mounts a V6 (European engines are way way better than american ones) outperforms this V8

Do you think European engine constructors like Ferrari, Mercedes, BMW, Audi and VW group in general motorising also other companies like Bugatti, Lamborghini, Pagani, Maserati, McLaren, Porsche, Rolls-Royce and many many more to not mention all the other brands are behind american ones like Chevrolet and Ford which best cars are muscle cars which are not much more than adaptations of daily driving cars? I love that gear lever canted toward the driver. I have always adjusted my Porsches with a slight lean in toward my leg. The Ford GT is a impeccable piece of no excuses automotive engineering.

Still hasn't been any other vehicle beat this Gt40. Last of the real HP. So love the exhaust on Ford's. They sound like an atomic bomb went off.
This and the Carrera GT were the last truly unrelenting and analog supercars. Every thing about them is so raw.

Of course this also happens on the Autobahn. Germans don't have a sixth sense for fast cars behind them. Driving fast is constant stress because you always have to pay attention to other people and watch for signs that they might simply move into the other lane. There is no need for envy. It's nice that we have the opportunity to drive so fast, but it's usually impossible to even maintain 100 MPH anyway

The best stock V8 sound in the world. I love all V8s, special the LT and LS engine series in the Corvettes (i have a C5 LS1) but this is the best sound since the Cobra in the 60s by far.

That's kinda what it's like to ride a 1000cc sport bike. Has long gears just like this Ford gt and a lot of horsepower to push them. Hold 3rd gear from downtown traffic speeds all the way to redline and you're going 140 mph. It's that same feeling in your stomach, "Jesus Christ this thing just wants more and more rpms". Exhilarating

If you'd ask me to pick any car to drive a couple hours on the Autobahn, the Ford GT, Corvette C6 ZR1 or Carrera GT would be among my top picks. The videos with those cars are probably my favorite on the channel.

This ford GT has got long gears : 3rd # 130 mph 4th # 160 mph 5th # near 200 mph.....I assume its a 6 speed gearbox , so theoretical 230ish mph max if it had the power........Impressive.

Foram muito bem fabricados, muito alumínio de alta qualidade. Muito ênfase no torque, a potência vinha por consequência. Para ele a marcha que estiver, estará sempre bom. Foi um carro de corrida adaptado para as ruas, por isso massacrava a concorrência nas categorias GT1 e GT3.
