@ im fuckin good at it too but super cars need robotised transmissions bro. They slap better. Im saying this and I’ve been driving manuals since I was 9 years old bro
This car must be a blast to drive! Nothing more exciting than winding out an engine to redline and shifting yourself. I'd take this over clicking buttons any day.
@@kagisowealthmoseki5100 maybe if all your doing is chasing statistics, but for driver engagement, manual all the way. I don't care that my 0-60 is slower when I'm rowing my own gears.
This is one of the slightly older Ferraris that has the 6 speed manual transmission with the Ferrari gated shifter. We know that Ferrari has discontinued these fully manual transmissions in favor of the dual clutch automated transmission with the paddle shifters because the dual clutch automated transmission is faster. I am sure that there are some auto enthusiasts that would like to see Ferrari bring back the fully manual gated shifter.

I know flat plane cranks are used for better performance but they make the V8 sound like a 4 cylinder. It's a beautiful car to look at, the 430 is probably one of the last older school looking Ferraris, but I don't think that sound would stir my emotions the way a regular V8 sound does. A V10 has a characteristic sound of its own, I think I would be influenced by a V10 more than this V9 sound.
The Ferrari 458s (not available with a manual) are actually appreciating significantly. I suspect the manual 430s and 599s are experiencing the same boom in value.
Simple thrilling with more involvement from man deciding when u want to shift just adds to the experience. I have paddles in my car and yes faster more instant but never the same to a manual obviously. Just even the first 10 seconds is pure pleasure. What ev can do that? u need to lift gas during the shift otherwise how u shift u damage the clutch and in general u should shift a little smoother and slower especially on 70k km ferrari

A lot of comments comparing a V8 Ferrari to a VTEC Honda… guys two different worlds… how you can compare these two engines is insane
1:25: Why does it sound like VTEC??
Ferrari V8s are basically like two 4 cylinder Honda engines in a V configuration. Tuning and perfomance wise, I mean.
