You guys are gluttons and eat too much-when are you gonna get engaged in charity or some other worthy cause instead of always filling your puffy faces with food in a poor country? Havent you all stayed long enough in Kenya and need to tour other african countries???SMH
As a Kenyan i have to say No one and No one has ever done what you guys are doing, you've shown the world how beautiful Kenya is and we thank you ❤....God Bless 🙏🏿

The market "marikiti", is officially know as McKinnon market, named after the founder of the Imperial British East Africa company that founded British East Africa as a company in 1884. The name "Kenya" was adopted in August 1920, when the current country was formed, and officially became a colony. Mombasa and the coast were a different state known as the "Protectorate of Kenya", which was ruled directly by the Sultan of Zanzibar till 1964, when he ceded the territory to form the Republic of Kenya. One of the conditions was to maintain Islamic courts(they still exist in Kenya), and use of Arabic (taught in schools esp at the coast but rarely used elsewhere, and old Kenya currency and government documents esp from Mombasa, had Arabic versions).
Thank you so much for (finally :p) visiting Mombasa. It was a pleasure to show you around Mombasa and give you a taste of our local foods! Come back soon :)

Love! Love this video & super informative too! I love what you guys do..! When when I go back to Mombasa, will be sure to try some new spots, thanks to you!
The Manis, that was a great tour. Please note our tastebuds were affected when you did the tasting. We were able to tell what you enjoyed more than the other.
The best time to go to Mombasa (and the coastal areas) is Aug. Hear me our 1 the school holidays aren't that long so everything is fairly priced 2 the Mombasa cold is not on the same level as Nairobi or Mt. Kenya regions 3 the traffic jam isn't as insane 4 but my fave thing, it's not as congested as compared to Dec with cruise ships docking, Kenyans fleeing Nairobi with their fams and it's not wet like April. Dave liked coffee in Kenya!!!!!! Trace you did it 😀😀❤❤
Mombasa has such fantastic history and the street food aswell…. I have never been to old town just did Fort Jesus and mama ngina area before it was all renovated. You’ve challenged me to do the tours thank you for sharing 💕
They love the free food, lack of responsibility, lack of charity work and just filling their faces with fatty foods.Havent u seen how they are big ever since they set foot in Kenya-LOL
Thank you guys. You teach me so much about my country. Inspired by you guys, i recently visited the Yatta platue. It's like our grand canyon. I have never seen a view so beautiful. Thanks again
There is a good plug for sugar cane juice along 3rd Parklands avenue Nairobi if you crave it while in Nairobi. It's more lit because he mixes his with coconut water and the result is super delicious! 😊
p.s. for anyone watching this, we organise sustainable adventures all over Kenya that have a positive social and environmental impact. Reach out to find out more :)
You almost managed to make "my" city look clean although it is dirty, dilapidated and poorly maintained. - Which is a shame as Mombasa has quite a number of historical buildings. Restoration is not a priority. Neither is cleaning the city. Thanks fo the trip 🙏
They must really like red in Mombasa as all of their candy seems to be dyed red. I'm surprised you didn't get any of the coconut to go, it looked so delicious. The Ginger flavored coffee sounded interesting as well. Always enjoy your videos as you are both so enthusiastic for whatever you are experiencing.
