We Took Our Canadian Family On A Luxury Trip in Watamu Kenya

- Because Watamu is our favorite location on the Kenyan Coast, this is where we decided to take our family who came all the way from Canada to relax a little and enjoy some beach time after their safari adventure!
But of course, we couldn't bring them to some random beach resort! We took them to Watamu's best beach villa. Welcome to Zuri by Tribalsand. This luxury beach villa has 6 bedrooms and can sleep up to 14 people. It has 2 living rooms, a beautiful dinning room and more outdoor space that you could ever dream of. We had 3 kids with us and if you ask them, their favorite part was definitely the massive pool and beach access because yes, the Zuri Villa is beachfront!

For the family to have the full Kenyan coast experience, we also planned a few activities even though they were already more than contempt with the beach villa itself.
Up first, we took them for the best pizza of their life at Sunset Beach Restaurant. This place crafts authentic Italian pizzas and there are not other place like it. Yes, we have been to Italy and had pizza there but we stand by what we say when we state that Sunset Beach Watamu has the best pizza in the world.

And because a trip to the Kenyan Coast wouldn't be complete with a day at the, we took the family onboard our favorite dhow called Pepo Huru. It all started with dolphin sighting before heading to a private beach and ending the morning with some snorkeling where I saw my first stingray in Kenya. From there, we headed for lunch at Rock and Sea where we had some delicious handmade pasta and seafood before going back on the Pepo Huru dhow for a beautiful sunset cruise on Mida Creek. Literally the perfect day in Watamu, Kenya.

I have seen all of Kenyan bloggers and one who comes to mind is singh. But he stopped posting content. The rest focus on themselves. Like look how I look, look what am wearing. They need to learn from the best so that they can up their game. The world is not waiting on Kenya. Tourism is a cut throat business and tourists have many options. If you don't stand out you get lost in the weeds. Dave and MANI consistently provide us quality content without fail for the last 2-3yrs. Who has done that. Another is "Where Next Family" who provide quality content. Kenyan bloggers just need to up their game. Competition with the best only makes them better. May be local content creators are good for local viewers but dave and mani capture the imagination of the rest of the world. Why not have both. The more the merrier

You guys got so lucky with the dolphins, I'm so jealous. Every time I've been to the coast I catch a glimpse of a tail or when everyone is excited at spotting them and I turn turn, nothing, they're gone (I'm low key starting to think dolphins might be mythical 😅😅😅).
