Shark is nothing but a plagiarizing vacuum company. It doesn’t matter if they are better or not, Dyson gave us bagless vacuums and we should credit them.
Hi there, some versions of the Soft roller cleaner head include just the front motorised roller. There is no difference to usage or performance between the two designs.
Do you have some strange partnership with Cheerios, Its the only brand name mentioned in this video apart from your own! =) Also, This looks like it would only be effective on hardwood floors, is that the case? Great choice in music!
Death Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson. The new Dyson V6 cordless range includes several different cleaner head combinations, so Dyson owners can select the machine that's best suited to the floor types in their home. The new Dyson Fluffy™ cordless vacuum includes our Soft roller cleaner head, which is ideal for hardwood, lino, laminate, parquet, tile and other popular hard floor surfaces. The motorised soft roller creates a close seal with the floor, and together with the anti-static carbon fibre filaments this helps remove clinging fine dust. The soft roller also draws in larger debris without snowplowing it along. Visit www.dysonv6.com/ to take the new Dyson V6 for a spin!
Hi Jack at Dyson, any reason why the new fluffy heads don't come with the soft rear roller any more? My V6 Absolute had it but was surprised to find that my V8 didn't. thanks
Hi there, thanks for getting in touch. Some variants of the soft roller head include just the motorised front soft roller. This makes no difference to pickup performance, but means there's only one roller to wash and maintain periodically.
+xraine gaming Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson. The Soft roller cleaner head included with the Dyson V6 Fluffy would not be compatible with other models of Dyson upright, canister or cordless vacuum. This is because they would not be designed to supply the motor with the current it needs to drive the rotating soft roller.
+xraine gaming Can you let me know which country you're based in? It sounds like our local Support teams will be best placed to give you advice on the compatibility with your particular V6 models and additional floor tools such as the Soft roller head.
Many thanks. In that case please email askdysonUS@dyson.com with your machine's serial number, as long as your contact details. Our experts will be in touch as soon as possible, and will be able to confirm if any alternate floor tools are compatible.
Hi Matthew, Compatibility between parts can certainly vary from country to country. I can confirm, however, Dyson V6 did offer a fluffy head model, which is actually where this attachment was first featured. I would recommend reaching out to Dyson in your country for more on compatibility with your Dyson V6 model. We do include our helpline contact details directly on our machines to ensure we can be easily reached if ever needed. Best wishes, David
Dyson UK Thank you David for getting back to me I do live in the UK and I have seen the fluffy head available on Amazon to buy, I was just wondering if the head would work with the base model of the V6 which I purchased from Tesco on Saturday
Hi Philip, the Dyson Soft roller head was first launched in 2014, and is now included with a number of Dyson V6 and V8 cord-free vacuums. It was invented for hard floors, and simultaneously removes both larger debris and clinging fine dust.

This is a mess my dogs would make they’re so badddd they love making messes the v11 is so good to have around despite how I dropped it an cracked the bin ;-; well hekk gotta wait for a new vacuum it shattered and a HUGE chunk was gone from the bin
Pagna Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson. This video is shot through glass to give a really clear demonstration of how our new Soft roller head works. However, the Dyson V6 Fluffy™ cordless vacuum is ideal for use on a wide range of popular hard floor surfaces - laminate, lino, hardwood, tile, concrete, marble, slate etc. The motorised soft roller draws in larger debris without snowplowing, and the anti-static carbon fibre filaments remove clinging fine dust and allergens.
Hi Ashton, Thanks for your query. Unfortunately I'm not able to provide you with the details, this was composed especially for us. Apologies for any disappointment caused. Best wishes, Toni
nice demo but the fluffy is actually poorer than the traditional heads which works on hard and carpet. soft roller only better taking in large debris but a nuisance since electric plugs, small toys, rugs, slippers get caught and jams the head
Hi Phyllis, it's Jack at Dyson. If the brush bar won't rotate when your machine is switched on, we'll need to talk you through some simple troubleshooting checks when your machine fully charged and easily to hand. It's likely we'll be able to resolve this right over the phone - if a replacement part is needed, we can confirm whether this is covered under your Dyson warranty. Can you let me know which country you're based in so I can put you in touch with the right team for further assistance?

I'll say this... Dyson cordless vacuums are very powerful and cool looking and shark upright vacuums are powerful and cool looking too but... they're both VERY competitive.
I have a standard shark professional lift-away. I'll quote James Dyson on this, but "One simple vacuum, and the filters became hopelessly clogged" They suck, and plagiarized Dyson's fluffy roller (the EXACT same thing) and slapped on another standard roller to get away scot-free. Albeit having both on the same head is good from a working aspect, but from a property aspect it was just a cheap escape from Dyson rightfully suing them.

can you do it on glass with test dust? I think it will look more interesting because it looks like a handheld duster
Eventually, Shark copied your idea and add another brushroll
Then someone gonna add three
And credited it as their own invention.
