I use oils a lot ,moisturizers and a base and top gel coat. My nails are growing so much ,I am very excited. I clean a lot so this is very exciting for me
If you want to grow your nails I use silk wraps to add strength to my nails and they do NOT CHIP OR BREAK for weeks allowing them to grow very long. The silk wraps will not damage your natural nails like acrylic. To remove the silk wrap just use acetone soak off remover. It only takes 2 to 3 minutes they just easily peel off
I am wondering if you are applying this yourself or if you have a professional do it, and if it requires a nail lamp? What is the name of the product, if you don't mind.
I used to do my own silk wraps and nail techs stop doing them a long time ago. You prep your nail and shape the silk wrap. Then glue it down. Before gel you would add a few layers of glue and file down. Now most use UV gel. Same principle. I didn’t use soak off. I just waited till they started to lift, washed the dishes a few times and then they would practically fall off. File or buff off any residue. It’s better if you remove every few days oil and let them rest from time wo time bare just oil.
I’ve been looking for a way to fill in my gma’s nails as she’s been sent home on hospice but ofc still wants cute nails. I think this will be perfect! I’m gonna try a set on myself first with these products so wish me luck!
Remember to put sunscreen on the hands when the nails are curing because the hand is being exposed to pure UV! And since she’s older there might be a higher risk of skin cancer or damage as a result. And do a patch test for the nail polish routine on one nail JUST in case

I was very surprised that Iactually did it on the first try! So I love how beginner friendly it seems. Like even with my non dominant hand I didn’t have to file anything!

And have been pretty afraid of doing anything to them ever since. Your videos inspired me to want to do my nails again 🥰 I tried this product and it is so easy to use! I’ve tried builder gel in the last but it usually came off in a a few days because I wasn’t prepping my nail correctly. Your content is much appreciated 🙏❤️
guys a great to for growing nails is : applying around 2-3 layers of nail strengthener 3 times a week and also adding cuticle remover. The hot water and lemon back also works really well!
nail strengthener simply hardens the nail, it doesn't prevent breakage or help with not breaking a nail when you bump something. that's why nail oil, like jojoba oil, is key. it is an oil that mimicks the one our bodies naturally produce to allow flexible, heathly cuticles, and nails that flex or bend instead of breaking on impact. also hot water or lemon soaking just makes your nails wet. which makes them more vulnerable. doesn't do anything for helping keep long nails, hot water and lemon are myths when it comes to growing long nails.
Actually nail strengtheners make your nails harder and more brittle making them easier to break. Your nail is suppose to bend especially if you snack it againt something it’s better ita flexible to bend vs break off
Also, what do you do when your nails grow out after what you are showing here? I'm a complete newbie to this way of maintaining your natural nails, so I 'm not sure what is to be done. Thank you!
Any advice for removal?? I soak in acetone with a manicure nail, soaking bowl and warm water. But it still with filing, and after 30 mins of soaking, it still rips my nail bed.
@@jasminerosewater3891 when I took the gel out, my nail was really, really thin, and couldn’t grow anymore. Every time they’d grow, it would break, cuz it was too weak

Most builder gels/reinforce gels/rubber base/whatever you want to call it can be soaked off! If you don't have a drill or are scared of using it on yourself, just grab a handfile, remove the top layer really quickly and then plop an acetone soaked cotton ball on your nails. Cover with foil and let it do its thing.

Two possibilities: one, if it’s truly not curing make sure you have the right lamp for your gel. You could need either UV or LED. Or two, she mentions removing the tacky layer with an alcohol pad. There is always a tiny layer of uncured gel at the top, called the inhibition layer. I believe it has to do with the gel being exposed to the air still. Wipe it off with alcohol on a lint free wipe and there should still be builder gel underneath. If you follow with gel colors for the rest of the manicure, you could look for a “tack-free” top coat, which won’t have that sticky layer after curing. Hope this helps!

a lot of people actually don’t recommended nail strengthener, as it causes your nails to become pretty much too hard, and therefore easier to break

Can you put regular nail polish on top of this once it’s all cured?
Just push your cuticles back consistently, I got super long nails in 2 months of doing it
That doesn't stop nails from breaking
