The necromancer is my absolute favorite character in the game. The design, the outfit, the voice, the power, the insanity. He is just perfection. The entire king’s funeral scene is one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen in a game and I love it so much.
Garret you are in for such a treat. Truely a masterclass from atlus in storytelling and rpg design. Perfect game to play over holiday break though gef ready for a 100 hour game if you do all the side quests which you should.
This and the charity stream with Jocat and Shenpai were the highlights of the last couple of days for me. Love this game. ATLUS are the kings of JRPGs for a while now. Its about time you dabble into them!

Garrett not sure if anyone in chat has said this but all of the human designs are taken straight from Hieronymous Bosch paintings. I figured the art nerd in you would appreciate that factoid!
Funny that you mention More reminding you of Zechs from Gundam Wing, in Japanese they are both voiced by Takehito Koyasu (who is always an absolute delight to listen to)
If I can back seat only once, if you take an afternoon to pick up a quest to work and the inns kitchen and then to people watch. In the evening go to the inns kitchen you can get your wisdom to rank 2. You can the talk to the white hairs merchant lady she has a great quest chain. Ok you can pull over and I’ll get out of the back seat.
I can't watch this yet because I only got the game for Christmas myself so don't want to get spoiled, but leaving a comment for the algorithm already because yay, Altus games! ❤ Gonna be a fun watch later once I played it too :)
about to head to work so i dont have time to watch everything, i do have 1 advice though, party members will not be available for bonding events untill the main mission is completed, so despite saying you need to go do side stuff and get stronger, alot of the main dungeons should be doable, so this is my one and only backseating advice, do the main dungeon first if doable, other then that, have fun.
I really really hope this evolves into a full playthrough

The book the protag is reading is Called Utopia by Tomas Moore a intresting irl book to read
Also the humans are inspired or straight up taken from the paintings of a dutch painter called Hieronymus Bosch
Fun fact: Utopia was also the basis for Amaurot in FFXIV.
