OK I have to go cry you said heartbeats together. My adoptive mom didn't want me and didn't like me, and I'm 63 and I think the only bonds I know are trauma bonds. I'm happy to know that some people want to love the children they adopt. Sometimes she tried to pretend to like or love me, but that just made it harder and more confusing.
This is a great question - I'm glad you asked it! Legally, no. But for your relationship with your birth family, I would definitely talk to them about it first if you wanted to start right away. You don't want any surprises at the hospital! I would explain your heart and desire for nurturing and bonding and why you would like to do this and then ask them if they are comfortable with it while you all are at the hospital. You want to honor their role and their comfort level. Their entire world is changing by following through with their adoption plan and there is a lot of grief that goes along with that. So if it would be too hard for them to know you are breastfeeding in the other room, I would wait until you are home. Thank you for being here and watching! xoxo, T

@@hoffmansforhim7365 A consultant will guide you through the process and give you helpful resources, but they do not do any of the adoption. An agency or a facilitator is who will actually connect you with a birth family and baby/child to fulfill the adoption. No need to be leery of out of state agencies, but DO do your research. Most agencies work with couple/birth families from all over. You will be working closely with them and you want to trust them and feel comfortable with them. Poor little girl in this video. I know her misery, her type of crying. She wants her REAL mother and it is obvious Tammi the egotist treats her like dirt. But yup, run off to a "therapist" with her and FORCE her to attach to Tammi's self-centered delusions demands, brainwash her, make her think and feel what Tammi wants. So much for free will, respect and a child abuse free home "y'all"...Tami wants her money's worth for the human being she bought and that's ALL that matters to her.

Do you have to get permission to breast feed before papers are signed?

I wonder if you are "the poor little girl" you reference. That must be so hard if no one understood your adoption. Peace be with you.

Actually over time your body will make enough milk to be able to just breastfeed!
