For those missing the key, you;ll need to drill into the key hole, break the cylinder pins, insert a screw driver into the drilled out key hole & then turn it to the position that allows you to remove the cylinder. From here you simply replace the cylinder. After 1997 is when keys got chipped

I had a locksmith adjust the new lock cylinder to match my oem keys. Cheaper than reprogramming

I wish I could post a link to it but you can drill out the tumbler to remove the lock cylinder, but you have to be careful. It only takes 15 minutes.

Just order a key cylinder that comes with tumblers and you can recode your new cylinder to your stock keys., that way you prevent that whole programming fiasco
